    That is probably the best how-to video I have ever seen. You were precise, on point, clear, and no fluff. That was just a great video all around. I cannot wait to get in the pool. My back already feels better.

    Thank you for all this helpful information. I have arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and have had both knees replaced. Normal exercise has been out of the question for me for quiet a while. About six weeks ago we joined a fitness center with a great pool and have been visiting it 3 to 4 times a week. Your exercises will amp up my workout so I can get the full benefit of my time spent in the pool.

    This video is just what I was looking for. I have been in pain for almost 2 years and went to PT to work on my right hip. When that didn't help, I finally got an MRI and it indicated that I have Spondylolisthesis. Thank you!

    Thanks for the fantastic video. I went through a round of PT last year (around this time of year as a matter of fact), and my back felt so much better afterwards. My back is once again bothering me and I recall most of these exercises as part of PT. Looks like I am heading out to the pool this evening to work on some relief.

    great steps, some I used in my class at my local pool.others were just obvious to me but the idea with the step in the pool is genius! I have fibro and severe osteo in my knees to the point I use a wheel chair. I just know that I want my independence back and I want to go to the pool but have trouble bending,,above water, to dress myself. Maybe I will just start with stretches at home.

    I have a large herniated disc L5/S1 & Sciatica. I've had a month of Chiropractic adjustments, Decompression, Accupunture and Physical therapy. Some initial improvement but I've just been stuck lately. I'm looking for ways to get me over this plateau. I noticed my LA Fitness has an aqua fit class. Do you know if it would be similar to this? Or is it best to just do these on my own? I'm hoping to avoid the surgery my Dr is reccomending. Thanks

    Hi I'm a Gardner and I have just injured my lower back I have like 3 lower discs out of place and with the sciatic nerve bothering me down my right leg. I found your site on here and I will try to copy the exercises. I also have a pool in my back garden so this video really expired me to do it . Just one question I live in a place where the summer is like 40 degree's every day so it's ideal for me right now. After the exercises do I need to take a hot shower afterwards or a cold one ?

    At 1:44, you say to make sure you're ready for this because it can cause you injury. How might it cause injury? I'd just like to know what to watch out for so as to not cause injury. I have DDD (lumbar) and arthritis in my lower back and considering hydrotherapy to begin strengthening my abdominal muscles to take the pressure off my back muscles. Thank you.

    Is it possible to make gym workout plan how to get more muscles when I have degenerative spinal disease? I just miss gym time. Doctors said I can't lift anything heavier than 5kg. I wake up with lower back pain and fall asleep with it. But I used to workout since I was 15. I simply can't live without it. Tried. Now 36yo and can't stand my life, body without muscles. Feeling so weak and not a man anymore. I have stenosis, spondylosis and scoliosis. 4 dixcs are off for 5,5 to 6,5mm. I don't want to give up and just ride bike and walk or do exercises with body weight.

  • @moeaboujalala1674
    @moeaboujalala1674 8 років тому +1

    After some research, I understood that I can't just apply general lower back exercises to eliminate pain. If I have an exterior disc bulge and apply exercise for the interior disc bulge that will cause my injury to become worse. Isn't this right ? Then how would I just apply most of these given exercises when some of them are for interior disc bulge ? Like, I'll be doing these exercises that will help pushing my bulge even further outside while it's already pushed exteriorly ..!

    • @Activchiro
      @Activchiro  8 років тому +2

      +Moe Aboujalala you have a fair point and i can see your reasoning . but flexing the spine in a low gravity environment with exterior pressure of the water and strengthening the core creates negative pressure within the disc . promoting less disc bulge in any direction
