I have met Jagga ji in Bombay during a marriage ceremony where he was invited to sing. I was 11 years then. I was awestruck by his personality. His style of turban and his moustache..... Those days were different. Very few land line phones, only radio news relayed @PM. People would read newspapers. There was trust amongst each other... no rat race.... This video brought back so many related memories. The interviewer Mr Iqbal Mahal - what a personality. He posed the questions in sweetest possible Punjabi - simply great.

I have read Jagga daku novel more than 10 times... very well written by Harkishan Mehta. We love Jagga ji... what an amazing life journey..!! but i am still depressed about his love "Veero"... He couldn't get her.
the USA in Sacramento, California: Late Jagat Singh stayed with me for four years. Narinder Biba too was my Guest for 4 months. I made them sing after a gap of 22 years in the city of Modesto. He was a man of principles
Please can someone clarify this, there were two Jagat Singh Jaggas. The first one was born in 1901 or 1902 but this one was born about 10 years later. First one died at the age of 31. He was a Ankheela and Daku. This one transformed himself from a prisoner( due to his part in a murder of someone of his own clan) to a singer.
