I just want to give a shout out to you Ben, for doing a fantastic job with all your videos! You explain everything very well with demonstrations in the tank etc... you are the best for all JDM products! You make me want to buy something every day lol! Thanks for your incite!
Hey Ben, I really like these type of videos. These lures are on the pricey side and these type of videos provide the information I like to have before investing in some great lures, some that I know nothing about and don’t have a store nearby where I can get a better look. I especially like when you show their action in the water.
Great informative video, love how you show the action of each bait in the tank and give great advice on the line/rod/reel combos for best results. Thank you!
The Dog X,Pop x, Griffon Zero, XPOD, XPOD Jr, , Pop Max all kick ass. The Live Target hard frogs are sweet & various frogs like Mann super frog + all the vintage baits I have and I’m completely covered for top water.
My confidence topwater is for sure the megabass popmax. Just super versatile, great size, assortment of colors to the moon and the collectible side is what sold me. Have an ever growing collection of them and ya may be seeing an order soon for the 2 new limited ones you got in.
I learn something new every day. I never thought of using braid to short fluoro leader. Always used braid to mono but there must be something into going with fluro so I will give it a try
Dude I love your channel I just found your channel I just started using megabass I guess better late than never I got the pop-x and what really sold me was in Jamaican boa it plane so true and the quality in detail
Some of the crawlers remind me of the Heddon Crazy Crawler! I have an original red and white that my dad caught his biggest bass here in the Midwest on. A 6.5lb which is big for a IN farm pond. They perform a lot like the cicada bait and the big crawler. On the leader, what knot do you use?? I find my braid ends up getting tangled at some point when I have a leader!! I use St. Croix rods mostly (I know not JDM😬) but I really like them. I’d love a good knot to tie for my leader that casts well and doesn’t cause inevitable tangles at the knot w the braid! Also, could you guys do a focus on Bluegill based baits? Many of us in the Midwest w farm ponds do not have shad in them! I’ve bought many of the bluegill swimbaits from you guys but would love a deep dive into them!!!! I would love a real life looking plastic swimbait in a bluegill!! One that’s shaped and swims like a bluegill but lasts like a Zman soft plastic! So so long!😬😂 Thanks jj
Great video, been crushing smallies on the popx and prop darter this week. You should feature some of the prop and wake baits next. My jerkbait special has been pulling double duty and performing great
Great bait for sure. Was let down tho when I ordered it in the modena bone and didn't get it after paying for it. Said it was oversold would have been nice to get it since I have it in the original pop x and the baby x
For me 6.8:1 is about perfect ratio for topwater. I have found that handle length/size makes a bigger difference. Reels that have those larger 95 &100mm handles are much harder for me to use for top waters, especially walking baits.
I have a serious question, do you send items out of the United States? I live in Spain and there's no way to find decente Jackall stuff, or even Megabass... No Gantarel, no Dowzswimmer here...
@@thehookuptackle_usa dont need a snap if you know how to walk alot of baits a split ring could help they dont come with a split ring i think they work well with out if you use them often and know.

Awesome man. thank you for the feedback! We appreciate you watching!
Awsome setups and love how you shown all the walking baits how the action works in the water
Thank you for watching! Have a great Friday!
It's amazing that they have the attention to detail to create a bait for every situation!!!
Agreed! It's fun to have a full lineup for all conditions!
Straight up love my dog x. Casts a mile like a missile and fish cannot resist it. !!!!
Excellent presentation! Showing the bait's action in the water made all the difference. Thanks!
Thank you for watching! Have a great rest of your week!

Love my Megabass Megadog 🎣
Really like these types of videos, has really helped me find the right bait for the conditions. Thanks!
Awesome! Thank you for watching!
Another great video, awesome break down of how and why !! Mega bass is the best ! Thanks for the great video
MegaBass is very expensive but no other lure company on Earth comes close for design & engineering!!! Look at the system on the 110 Max lbo😱. Amazing.

Awesome man! Yeah it's quintessential Megabass!
So funny to watch these vids after watching you drink beer and curse on sunday mornings hahahahs
I learn something new every day. I never thought of using braid to short fluoro leader. Always used braid to mono but there must be something into going with fluro so I will give it a try
The Fluoro is more abrasion resistant and has better knot strength than mono, so I like it better for leader.
Def my fav new UA-cam channel!! Keep up the good work fellas, love the content !
thank you my friend!
Always looking forward to the next video. Great stuff Ben.
Thank you sir!
I have a pop max fairly large. Bass color. Have yet to get a bite on it but I love it though. Tends to get caught up on the line though.
Pop max, you can't beat it.. for its profile, action and versatility.. not to mention it casts and cuts through the air like a bullet
It's definitely one of the most versatile topwater baits ever!
Best shop in the biz 👍👊
Thank you my friend!
Man I really like these videos a lot.
Outstanding breakdown as usual
Thank you sir!

Welcome to the channel! We appreciate you being here. Let us know if you ever have any questions, Megabass related or not!
Gonna try me a megadog soon Cheers!!! :))
Thank you for the fast shipping hookup tackle
Thank you for your business! Enjoy the new gear!
So what megabass rod would you recommend for baits the size of the mega dog? Also using braid with this size bait?
Awesome video! But what brand glasses are you wearing? They look so cool!
I actually make them look cool. You have no chance of doing the same so don’t worry about it.
Oh man, I wish you covered saltwater lures.

Awesome man! We did a wake bait breakdown last week! Check it out on our channel page!
What rod would you use for the megadawg
What would be your rod choice for the smaller baits or will the Otomat handle all those down to the Dog-X Jr Coayu, Pop X and Swing Fire ?
Kasumi 611 or PopX Stick
i used before kanata megabass and x80 magnum megabass
Thank you for watching!

One time runs are tough. When they're out they're out! Got to be fast! Thank you for your business!
How does the Expride 6’ 10 Medium compare to the Otomat ?
If you're on a budget it's better.
Just take all my money already fuck! these videos are so good lmao
With all the megabass stuff this channel makes me wanna buy, I really need to learn Japanese so I can actually read the packaging.
That's be a good language to learn :)
Any idea when the I-wing fry is coming?

Absolutely! No problem!
My all time fav top water is the pop max in python - it’s me lucky 🍀 charm lass
Thats a great one man!
Any chance for getting xlush sinking lures
Those are on our immediate radar 👍
What color was that megadog?
Stealth rainbow
Any megabass daruma
Do U guys have sales ever?
Usually on big holidays.
Do you use a snap or tie directly to the pop max?
I use a snap if I want it to walk. Just to give it some pivot.
The Hook Up Tackle thanks man
@@thehookuptackle_usa dont need a snap if you know how to walk alot of baits a split ring could help they dont come with a split ring i think they work well with out if you use them often and know.
the right rod helps.
@@garysims4491 you don't "need" anything. But having a pivot helps, whether its a snap or a split ring.
Curious about the I-wing .. who has it here ? Penny for your thoughts 💭 on it ..
I-Wing is amazing when the conditions are right. I find that I catch them great on it around grass and shallower water like ponds vs. big lakes.
The Hook Up Tackle I swear you took college courses on how to represent / sell tackle .. your super good at it 🤓
The Hook Up Tackle p.s .. I mostly fish lake mead .. after seeing it here - was thinking spring striper spawn 🤷🏻♂️
@@deangruwell6555 I think it's too slow. Lake Mead I think a walking bait is still a better option. But I guarantee they havent seen many crawlers!
sniped a megadog for largies couldnt find a good punker.
Just like my Ex" Bulbous on her backend"
There goes my 401k
All of it! Yes! 😂👍
