The mouse singing at the moon was a reference to the 1986 animated movie "An American Tail".
It had a famous scene where the mouse characters sing the song "Somewhere Out There".
Exactly
beneath the pale moon light
The penis joining in will never not be hilarious.
How does it cost money to do research? You know scientists get paid right? Also, scientific equipment isn't dropped off by Santa. Sure, the Easter Bunny might bring you a microscope, but not a good one. So if you need equipment past an Easter microscope, it costs money.
dont bother trying to explain, these mud bloods only want to live in ignorance.
Doesn't Russia "DONATE" funds to cover expenses??? 🤔
The Russian Space Program was that Way 😂✌️
I know what he meant tho. If you have a lab full of equipment then you shouldnt need billions for equipment. If you wanna get out of paying scientist then use students. It wouldnt last forever but you could easily cut their funds by 75% or so
@@welrod94 Well...students already work on research. It's often how the study for their PhD's and while doing that they are usually paid a "PhD Stipend" because, genrally you want to encourage people to keep working on things like...medicine and engineering. Most money isn't for "equipment", it's for materials. Chemicals, Metals, Rocks the list is endless. The majority of science is getting things wrong so you can narrow down where the correct answers are. This means you often lose most materials you use for research and need a continuous supply. To some this can seem wasteful, but it's about the long-term gains, if you spend 100 Billion to develop a medicine, but it saves Billions in future materials (better medicines require you to take less of them for the same effect as current medicines) saves millions of man-hours in lost days to continued sickness in the workforce and prevents early deaths. The net-benefit outweighs the initial costs.
Trust me, the businesses wouldn't want to pay tens of millions if they didn't have to. @@welrod94
The movie it's "Stand and Deliver", it's a movie with Edward James Olmos and Andy García.. he teaches Calculus to kids with a latinamerican background
Crazy cuz it was a true story too. He really turned that school around as far as Math goes
I remember watching this in geometry class in high school (mr l was a good math teacher and good role model).
"finger man.. I heard about chu"
The creators went to the Oscar’s on acid, oh they’re geeked lmao
wearing dresses, don't forget that part.
Guys, they make this kind of movie almost every 10 years. Bill Burr is even making fun of this in one of his specials.
The one they made us watch when I was in primary school was "Dangerous hearts" with Michelle Pfeifer. (Coolio's Gangsta's paradise" was the famous sound track for it)
they pull their dresses up so the mice can't run up it
3:34 “Lean on Me” is a great movie. 🍿
6:48: Stand And Deliver with Edward James Olmos is correct. This episode is a parody of it. The mouse and the schlong singing is a reference to the Don Bluth film, An American Tail
Lean On Me is the movie you're thinking of with Morgan Freeman.
Something that really tickled my nostalgia in this episode was the part with the mouse singing on the fence being a nod to a song number from the movie An American Tail. The creators were really dipping far back with that one
Good job getting the movie Dee. It is based on a true story and I think they did a good job with having Erik look like the actual teacher. I also like how they had Erik bring up calculus.
2:12 Bro be spitting facts and Dee's like 'i wonder how big it will be' i'm dead bruh
They said the episode Quest for Ratings, when they did the school news show & drank cough syrup to get high & get ideas, was about how getting high/tripping to come up with ideas didn't work for them at all. They tried it.
It’s not Morgan Freeman. It was Sydney Poitier. To Sir, With Love. But this episode is for sure Stand and Deliver.
He's talking about Lean on Me.

I MISINTERPRETED THE RULES!!!
The movie they are parodying is “Stand and Deliver” (1988) Cartman is playing Edward James Olmos character Jamie Escalante
Does no one remember the mouse in the news where thay grew a full sized human ear on its back, that inspired this episode?
I really hope after S15 Ep1 yall will react to "6 Days to Air" the making of South Park. It takes you through their process of making an episode, which they do in 6 days.
That’s like saying “how does it cost money to run a restaurant”
Garrison was doing detransition before it got political
It's only "political" because as$h0l3s made it so. Detransitioning is sometimes necessary, and it shouldn't be held up as some kind of standard for or against anything.
You have to react to 6 days to air. It’s a South Park documentary about how they create an episode.
Lean on me is the Morgan freeman movie
10:23 baby girl u asking too many questions 😂😂😂
Homie as a fellow Latino you NEED to watch it. It was one of the few movies growing up that actually made me proud of my heritage. It's based on a true story too so hearing about the success of all of these ghetto kids (not just latinos) made me realize that if they can push themselves luke that, then there was no excuse that I couldn't. Mind you I was just some kid from the suburbs of Chicago. They also weren't cheating in the movie or in real life 😂
Mr garrison is worst than Eric Cartman. Lmaol
Cartmenez
Still hysterical after all these years!
Love how Dee thinking was for Episode . Every question was about Penis. Is it heavy someone gonna eat it how will it grow on mice where's the balls Amazin cause she said in the end she liked it feels guilty saying it. Love ya Dee ur hilarious been watching you since ep1 of Always Sunny
.
How do I reach these keeeds?
Love the American Tail mouse/dick duet.
Great ep
Yes check out stand and deliver. It’s an amazing movie
Lean on Me is the Morgan Freeman you think about
Trey parker and matt stone have admitted to being extremely stoned when writing scripts and putting together episodes😊
What, i’ve heard in interviews they avoid smoking, ‘cause they say they;d get nothing done if they did. Maybe they did in the early days.
They've done it before, but that's not a thing they do. These scripts are completely clean.
No they haven’t
You’re talking out your ass.
where is the list episode?
Stan didn’t want to dill with garrison’s crap so much he asked Kyle to do math problem., it’s big because though only hinted at out loud in my future self and me it’s been seen that Stan is bad at math at its most likely his worst subject at school.
“Remember children, there is a very big difference between trans people and Mr. Garrison.”
Mr Garrison led the Parade 🤷
@@johnboydTx Oh please; he isn't properly representative of ANYBODY except the most deeply disturbed of people. Arkansas natives, queer people, bald people, teachers, etc.; NONE deserve judgment on the basis of THIS guy being a total cretin. Even other perverts don't deserve the same assessment.
Ehh you guys are back!
research is expensive
This episode is probably based (at least party) on the movie High School High with Jon Lovitz
Highly doubt an obscure parody film that the creators didn't grow up with, nor was influential in its own right, was itself parodied here.
Bruh why you got two snake bites on ur chin?
Can't wait to see the cope in the comment section on this one lol
Stand and deliver is an awesome movie... I would pay good money if you guys reacted to that movie, and also Blood in blood out. Guarantee you guys will love both. Also, Blood in blood out is in 4k on UA-cam for free.
A legitimate tear caressed my face witnessing the grace, and goodness of this man letting other people participate on his own show.
