Im at fort lee right now going through the training. Dont let it be complicated just study and focus on learning. Nothing else is worth taking away your chance at passing tests and achieving your certifications. Theres lots of ways too have fun at ait but make sure your the person always taking care of yourself and learning everything and helping your battle buddies understand. This field is much more than just 12 to 16 weeks. Theres way more you need too understand
@@stevenmckinney9924do ya real be working with the 91 bravos I’m planning on choosing this mos or aircraft mainece just don’t want to work on cars at alll

@Jimmy Strudel ait is not hard at all really but people need too take it seriously cause of the future work they will have too prove
New graduate from Air Force in somewhat similar field here, make sure you read those block books people. What worked for jimmy may not work for you.
@@carlkpsplucky5554 no he did the minimum but thats not gonna make you fully ready for the big jobs
@Jimmy Strudel Lang shut up😂
Lmao I’m an hvac tech in the civilian sector this is gonna be a cake walk
Id go and enlist for this area but id really hate to leave my tools. Not sure if i get to bring them with me.
Does this MOS transfer to civilian life as an HVAC technician?
i wouldn’t see why not
Yes, I got Type 1,2 and 3 there which is Universal Certification in HVAC
@@richardgregory3644what if I already got the epa universal and Texas license will it be easier one me
@webcobra569 it will be. The equipment is much more simple, but your tools will be from the early 90's design, if not actually from the 90s.

What are civilian jobs that I could apply this MOS too?
Joined as 91c. Never did my job once. Lucky if you get to do your job. But you’ll most likely just do 91 b work with worse promotion points.
Facts. I'm more proficient in swapping transmissions than I am repairing AC equipment 😂 no advancement room either, 798 since 2011!!!
i did 52c and just like you i never did my job. i cross trained into 63b and other mos's.
52c from 2004-2009. I rarely did my job in garrison. Always in the field tho. When I deployed to Iraq in 2007 I worked 16 to 18 hours a day on HVAC.
Is there any way I could study for this MOS before getting to AIT?
ESCO / National Tradesman
Study:
- Core
- Type I
- Type II
- Type III
Rest of training there is hands-on
