  • Have you ever wanted to create my Postmortem Doily but are more of a watcher not a reader... well I don't blame you. In this PART ONE of two you will be creating the skeleton part of the doily. Part 2 you will be creating the border. You may want to pick up the pattern just to have on hand as to follow along while we create this wonderful little doily together.
For just the super short help video follow the link below.

After making this doily, I had to come back and say that the pictures of this can not do it the justice it deserves. It is stunning. She must have a wonderful mind to not only create this pattern but teach it in a comprehensive way for beginners from start to finish. Seriously, this thinng is a masterpiece.

YOU are a lifesaver. I bought this pattern a while back and put it aside because of the problem I was having with the spine. I just couldn't get my head around what the instructions were saying. Your video saved me. I am now past the spine and on to the rest of the pattern. THANK YOU.......I got confused with sc around the sc. When I saw that you were treating the sc like a ch space, I saw what you were doing. Thanks again for the video, it saved my sanity. :) I love this pattern.

I've tried this once before, and it ended on the spine. Now, after 6 months of more practice, I finally managed to do it correctly! Last time I was watching from my phone, so I got confused, but now I'm watching from my pc screen, which is much bigger!

We need some bats because there's nothing but the doll's. I like the doll's but when you have a adult niece who celebrates her birthday on Halloween... She goes all out! She just purchased a coffin earlier this year for her parties. So bring on everything else that reminds you of the ghosts and goblins of the old days. Frank, Dracula and let's not forget the wolf man!
You do amazing work! I can't follow a pattern because some words run together or lettering jumbles up. But I can follow by watching the videos because I can stop it to catch up. So thank you so much for letting me follow along with you and making my nieces birthday more memorable for years to come. ❤

You may need to practice a bit more with thread just to help even those stitches out. You may wish to play with hook sizes or brands of hooks aswell. You got this !!!
I will say, most have a loose chain and tight stitches. Its refreshing to hear of the reverse.

I am horrible at reading patterns and therefore I have been following your video along here on UA-cam and yes because you are a very fast at crocheting I have paused your video several times.
However I am also left handed so I have to figure it out backwards from you. I have purchased the pattern also but strictly just to support you as like I said I’m not great at reading patterns.
I have never worked with this type of yarn to do Doily’s and never made a Doily before I seen this pattern as my mother in law is absolutely crazy about Halloween.
I made her 8 individual ones and then connected them all horizontally to go across her big coffee table in her living room.
Just as a very new subscriber I just wanted to say the only downfall of following your video along and converting it, it is extremely distracting to hear the metal noise of things clinging together
Maybe it’s bracelets or whichever and the noise is probably more noticeable because you crochet faster than most
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATTERN and ESPECIALLY THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME TO CREATE THE FOLLOW ALONG VIDEOS!!!
Without those I would never have been able to make this pattern for her.
