Yeah, you'd expect that smartmouth Lexi to learn some pattern recognition when people are upset when she opens her rotten little mouth, but then again she sadly has to risk running said mouth off to the kid who has a doll possessed by a deranged maniac, she's just lucky Jake didn't want to spend his life repeating what Chucky did, not that she did much to convince him to do otherwise.
