Great video Anthony R.This sounds exactly like it should.Love it.Haven't heard the story about the gardener. These Outtakes are so good.Thank you.!!❤🎶🔥💥💯
Abkco must have deleted the video. Why don’t they just release it legitimately? Like they did with the Rock and Roll Circus. They looked so cool in this. I remember seeing it for the first time in a class called rock poetry in high school. I was blown away.
Very good, very good. Best ones of these outtakes have very strong charm. Original take is mean, but this is so ratty and loose that you just get chills. This is rock'n'roll, the pure heart of it. Mick sounds very excited, like "this song really works!"
Brian is definitely playing Rhythm I can't here any lead from Keith cause listen to all of Keiths Rhythm after Brian's death they don't even come close to This sound .
This is great however, the audio is taken from the promo clip for the song. Not an early take. This was live at Olympic Studios made for playback with the promo.
David Bowers I do not hear a piano. I have no idea if it was done in 1 take. All I know is that this is the same track used for the Promo in 1968 which you can watch on UA-cam.
Theres two promos they made for this song. One was them playing live (this one) where they didn't wear makeup in the video made. There's also another one with them wearing makeup where they're playing along to the common version of this song (lip and instrument synced to the audio).
I'm just wondering if the music is a production. Or the whole band is playing together like on Circus. Bass sounds a bit more like Wyman and guitar could be Brian. Wish Rock historians would find this stuff out. We know the Studio is all Keith on guitar and Bass.
go to a piano. hit a B. it will match. j Miller stones, london, someone(s) decided to speed this one up a fraction. Honky tonk also. (if you're a guitar player, it's in G Maj, but you have to tune up apx 1/2way to a to play w that recording) it was not uncommon that era. The single of this as we all now is a Pinch above B major not q halfway to C major. this was orig, before final mix. (it's not been sped up). you will notice live versions 68-70 they (Richards) would play it at this tempo
But rethinking this Brian does not play the high parts on Circus. It's the opposite. Keith is doing a bit of double duty there. Brian is doing the Bass rythem.
I love these early versions. These unpolished edges are better then electronically perfected remastered editions.
Those raw outtakes are even better than the released versions! This one kills it.
THIS is the ultimate version. IT was out here awhile until ABKCO too er down

This is the audio for one of the promo videos they recorded for the song in April 1968 (the one without make up). Live vocals over pre-recorded music.
the better take. probably tossed because they were all sweating profusely
Brian's drug taking on this recording was absolutely outstanding. Well done Brian!

God studio out takes are freaking great. This IS the joy of rock and roll !!.. thanks for sharing this its beuatiful.
I honestly enjoy this version than the one they released.
Raw and primitive, therein lies its charm
Like this one better than the one on the official record. Rawer.
I love this version, so pure.
Btw it’s an open E tuning ? Because I don’t think that Keith were using the open g at this time
you got the best stones stuff Anthony R.
There's actually a TOTP video of them performing this video. Much better than the official video

Special stuff indeed!

Brian Jones was the Best..We remember always without him there were no Stones!!!
Great sound.
thats the version from the promo clip
The footage is from Cocksucker Blues, Robert Frank's notorious unreleased documentary on the 1972 tour
cool...thanks for posting
THEY ARE AMAZING BAND WHO IS BETTER NOBODY 60 YRS
And still going strong miss you Charlie Watts ( REST IN PEACE) 😢 💙
This version was used for the black and white version of the “makeup video” for German TV IIRC …ragged but right
This is great however, the audio is taken from the promo clip for the song. Not an early take. This was live at Olympic Studios made for playback with the promo.
was the Olympic Studio audio done in one single take ? I hear Ian Steward's piano durning the intro here .
David Bowers I do not hear a piano. I have no idea if it was done in 1 take. All I know is that this is the same track used for the Promo in 1968 which you can watch on UA-cam.

@@NoOne-sn2si They are both mimed to the Olympic backing track apart from Mick’s vocal on one of them which is live.

It’s a gas!
Best version. Raw.
Someone needs to sync this over the promo video again..
Other then Jagger you can always count on seeing Bobby Keys with Keef.
Best video & song? World's greatest band????????? Perharps.
this is the first version released in May 68 U.K. . June 68 USA ,.
This is the audio for one of the promo videos they recorded for the song in April 1968 (the one without make up). Live vocals over pre-recorded music.
@@Jimmie_Rudolfsson this is the first cut of this song live ,outside the the studio . what you see is what you get .
There's a way cleaner version. Scroll. Wonder if Brian is on this.
He is playing the twangy guitar part
Great as always. So this is from French riviera ?? ----
No
arne berg The video is from 1972 but the audio is from 1968
@@BigSky1 Yea, but they made Exile 72 at Nelcote ---
Arne Berg Yes Exile was ‘recorded at Nellcote in ‘72. This film is from ‘72 but the audio is from 1968,
@@BigSky1 Yea yea of course ))) ...but the film ---
Never heard this one before, many thanks for it.
Is it my imagination or does the tempo drag slightly during the instrumental break?
go to a piano.
hit a B.
it will match.

Just a grainy vid with wikipedia excerpts annotated over it.
Was this Taylor or jones?
Jones
.....and Bill Wyman?
On organ!!!
Bass sounds like Keith. So I'm not thinking this was not live. But who knows.
studio or love you live version is much better....this is cool raw evolving.....
私はこの曲に1番衝撃を受けました……
this recording isnt nearly as good as the Master take ,,,,also posted on youtube .
Yeah yeah Nana should’ve stayed in there
Like the first take bettet.
Judging by the sloppiness of the higher pitched guitar it’s safe to assume that it’s Brian
Yeah that's what I think. There's a cleaner out take. It's is badly mixed though.
But rethinking this Brian does not play the high parts on Circus. It's the opposite. Keith is doing a bit of double duty there. Brian is doing the Bass rythem.
easiest version I've heard
