I bought the AP Royal oak. It was one of the the greatest moments of my life as I saved 6 years to buy that watch. I flew from Amsterdam to London and took a coffee after 3 hours went back. Now I can do a little research and hopefully find out what what she is worth.

Yeah, but no one knew. Hindsight is 20-20. We all thought list prices or a touch below would always be around. I waffled on buying a pre ceramic Sub in 2015 for 4.5K and now they are 9.

Ah the ubiquitous Rolex Exp II recommendation. I picked up a new Explorer II last week, and it is not winning me over. I think it may be a catch and release piece. I certainly don't think an Explorer would add a thing to the collection featured in this video.
I could see a Lange Zeitwerk fitting in nicely. If another Rolex, then something in precious metal would be great.
Love the Zeitwerk, Ive never tried one before, they seem a bit bulky but thats just my opinion based on pics and videos!
Polar Exp II was a catch and release for me, too. It’s too big, IMO. Prefer the older one.

Anyone could have a collection like this with infinite resources. It’s an awesome collection, no doubt, but putting together the right vintage collection seems like more of a challenge.

hahahaha Yes i know, I have a box from Underwood London which they are great but its is for 10 watches so couldnt use it anymore, so I ordered a 16 watch Scatola del Tempo more than a month ago but they are backordered and hasnt arrive. In the meantime I bought this box, didnt want to spend a lot just for a couple of weeks.

Thanks for the recommendation as you can tell I LOVE Journe and the Havana dial as well as the CB they are simply amazing, I dont know any other dial in brown which works as well as this one, and thats why I got it. Im planning of hopefully getting a Patek in the future im thinking about the 5205G or the 5930G

@@CR-il3bm Kudos to you sir. My only hope is you get a a Moser. Usually that sets him off but recently he has toned it down and refers to them a a mainstream Haute Horology brand. Someone must of educated the guy, as before that he would be sure to go on a tirade if someone had a Moser.
