Igor Cavalera is a beast on the drums man, especially on this album. Combined with head banging riffs from Max, killer shreddy solos from Andreas, all underpinned by a solid bass line by Paulo Jr. One of the all time greatest metal albums.....
In the era 89-00 sepultura is realistc in the top of Everest in the thrash metal scene. And do one more Sepultura Arise Sepultura refuse/resist Sepultura isolation - New lineup but brutal too. Hugs from Brasil my Man.
This is like one of the best metal albums on this planet Bro, and complete album is as good as this track you just heard! Man I’m glad they got you hearing this, the Cavalera Brothers who are the singer and drummer from Sepultura Are Touring right now in celebration of there first Sepultura album because they are the true founding members of Sepultura. The singer left the band in 1996 and the cavalera brothers were reunited back together in 2007 after a 10 year spit up After Sepultura split up in 1996. It’s a beautiful story really.
Thank you very much for your lovely visit to Brazil again!😃The album 'Arise' came out in 1991 and was resposible for bringing Sepultura to the top of the extreme metal genre. It will be interesting if in the future you can check a song from their following album 'Chaos AD' (1993), in which they consolidaded their international influence and started to incorporate some Brazilian elements into their music (either "Propaganda", "Refuse/Resist" or "Territory" are great classics from this album that most people love). Thanks again, Sevsimo!!🤘✌
If you want to see the best Sepultura live performance, check out the songs “Intro + Arise” and “Desperate Cry” (both from the 1991 Under Siege concert in Barcelona), some of the chunkiest riffs and masterful drum-work you’ll ever experience.
Even though the recording quality is a bit old, this concert in Barcelona (1991) was legendary and you can see the boys playing live at their prime. In case you're interested, I'll leave the following link where you can check the songs suggested above (from the beggining of the video until ~10 minutes, when the song 'Desperate Cry' ends): ua-cam.com/video/1XYMzAIj7BQ/v-deo.html.
Love 'Arise', dude... this album (from 1991 btw) is amazing ! I saw their tour from this album and I discovered Meshuggah who was the opening band on this tour. God damn good surprise. 😀 Even though 'Chaos AD' is my favorite album from Sepultura... just their climax imo. Try 'Territory', 'Refuse/Resist' or 'Propaganda'. Enjoy ! Peace.
Man YOU ARE UNBELIEBLE, NEVER THOUGHT THIS WILL COMING SO SOON , MADE My DAY ALMOST MADE ME CRY. LOVE THIS TEAM CHOPDROPS. OBRIGADO Por TUDO É NOIX BRAZIL ❤❤🎉
You get this music! Need to see these guys live...This year I saw both Soulfly (Max Cavalera- Vocals/Rhythm) and the newer Sepultura which has Andreas Kisser- Lead from this song, with newer members. Both shows were amazing. Max Cavalera and Igor Cavalera (Drums) are brothers and tour as "Cavalera Conspiracy", they recently re-recorded the first two Sepultura albums.
This album is a masterpiece, the paradigm for thrash metal in the 90s. All tracks same level: nasty midtempos alternating constantly with blast beats and thrashy, faster riffs all the way through. I remember when I first listened to it (I was fifteen): stunned. This went on repeat on my cd player for like...weeks. Ah the good old 90s 😍
The most unique thing about Sepultura is that you can hear metal's evolution from Bestial Devastation to Roots. Death/black metal to alternative metal, they changed the game in all sectors.
This album shook up the thrash metal industry and sent the big 4 into hiding. Litterally the greatest thrash album of all time. The song subtraction probably the greatest breakdown in history.
A good choice. I will throw a few random gems at you. Anthrax - Room for one more, Bio Hazard - Fuck the rules, Static X - Cold, Papa Roach - Last Resort.
Hi, bro! Try Korzus from Brazil. May be Agony song. This is the energy of ball lightning, especially the vocals of Marcello Pompeu, it tears the air like a high-voltage discharge! Like from Russia!
I want freaking someone reaction to one of the most underrated Thrash metal bands called Vio- lence whatever song of the Eternal nightmare album, kill on command, serial killer, Eternal nightmare all are incredibly good
You should listen to some fit for a king some good ones to start with are backbreaker, shattered glass,Stacking bodies,God of fire, and eyes roll back just pick from any of those and you'll be satisfied with the result
You should check out their whole "Chaos A.D." album. Still among the best to this day. Amen Nomad And my all time Sepultura fave Manifest-section 8 videos
"This is good music right here..." you bet man! Sev, don't know if you'd like/handle Obituary, but definitely give the album "Cause of Death" a shot. It's more midpaced, but a stone cold classic.
I think you are ready big fella. New Disembodied tyrant/synestia " Poetic Edda" it's got amazing fast crunchy riff amazing transitions and beautiful classical sections
@@digimortalone2759 absolutely! They got like 20 great songs I would say. Certainly worth exploring. The most influential band (ripped off) to present day metal I would say.
Eu conheci o Max aqui no Rio de Janeiro pegando onda na praia da Barra perto da minha casa. Além de ser super talentoso é um cara super gente boa e familia. Parabéns pelo seu react
Hey man, did something good happen in your life? You've never looked stressed or unhappy by any means, but you somehow look so much more relaxed than usual. Anyway, cheers.
Killswitch Engage, pick a song, the original lead vocalist is an Opera trained singer that has power, range and growl like no one. Backed by a ripping, CHOPPY, band.
I was raised on this shit, man. I'm 48. 30 plus years of joy listening to bands like this and they STILL raise the hairs on the back of my neck.
This is one of the GREATEST thrash metal albums of all time!🙌
'Arise' & 'Far Beyond Driven' are the best records of the genre!
Schizophrenia is
The greatest for me
@@tylerstewart8420far beyond driven has thrash influence but is not a thrash album

Most powerful band of all time
Agreed, the guitar work is insane. Other bands would have written 5 songs from the sheer number of awesome riffs Sepultura fire off in this one.
É foda!
The most unique thing about Sepultura is that you can hear metal's evolution from Bestial Devastation to Roots. Death/black metal to alternative metal, they changed the game in all sectors.
I love Sepultura. You got to listen Tornado of Souls or Holy Wars by Megadeth. You will love the transitions. Regards and congrats from Portugal.
