Who here has ever loved someone with all there heart and them doing the same despite all the pain and suffering...then being told by parents you can't be toghter. I do not know for sure but I have high suspicions this is why my asian girlfriend of 4 years suddenly dumped me a few months ago not long after moving back in with her parents. There was a lot of friction between her and them and they didn't care much for me because I wasn't asian and wealthy and I was also not welcome there. (she told me that herself long before this happened) She was my best friend and we had a great relationship and I was gonna propose to her but now it seems like she is gone out of my life forever. We don't talk at all now. It is as if I never existed to her. Its a horrible feeling to be cut off an rejected like that. It was the first and only true long term relationship I ever had that actually worked.
That's worst...at least i can talk to her but not as often as before...before we always talked as much as possible from after school late into the night around 12:50...now were lucky if we can chat for an hour. She's moved farther away as well wich already was an issue for us.

Let go of someone who I admired durimg the day yesterday.. I invested so much time, physical energy, mental effort, and money to try and have her admire how hard I was working for her. I was hoping that, after I sent her a message that we cannot go on continuing to be friends (it's a complicated series of events), she would at least want to try and save the friendship as I had been hoping for. Instead, she embraced the notion and now the bridge has been burnt.. I feel like I have been cheated and it is unfair because I wanted the best I could give her and she not only didn't care about it, but in fact it was completely meaningless to her. I let him go. My uncle died 1 year ago today. He was a really good guy. Was like a second father to me, always taking me out or ice cream and to go look at cars. He is the reason I am the way I am today. I used to spend all day in his garage working on his Chevy Bel Air with him. I saw him a week before he died..... I forgot to say goodbye. It still haunts me. Ill cry myself to sleep just thinking about all the good memories we had.

Letting go of someone you love is truly the hardest thing you could do to a soul. After all it happens, you recall the small stuff. Like the small walks, that one time you both got drenched in rain trying to find each other, pulling an unnecessary all nighter, studying together, accidentally making the nastiest dinner to surprise him, squeezing his butt in the middle of the night to annoy him. Waking up in the morning thinking you're fine, and before you leave the house you realize that none of his shoes are in the shoe-racks, or in fact anywhere to be seen. Your room seems empty so suddenly, so you leave. But your umbrella is too big. It's raining, your hands are cold, so you squeeze your own in your pockets but they're never going to get as warm as it used to. And you realize that you let go of someone that makes you complete. That's what letting go of a lover means.

Please read the whole thing :( I'll do it short: I'm shy and lack confidence, but I'm not the shyest person in the world, though, and people think I'm kind so they don't hate me or anything, but I'm not that... popular guy. I've just completely fallen for this girl one year older than me, though I've known her for 1 year now. This is her last year of high school, and my second year. She likes rock, but she is blond, smiles all the time, very happy and kind to everyone. She also seems very confident. We go music school, and we're now going to play a concert for two days, and we're on the same group (luckily). Though I try to smile at her when our eyes meet and she smiles back, say "hi" to her in the hallway, and spoken to her alone only two times. Today I spoke to her when we left school. I said she was a very good singer, asked if she was looking forward to the concert, etc. and we said "Good bye" to each other. So what's the problem, you ask? Well... confidence. I feel, since she is confident, rocks on guitar (and I play piano...) she speaks a lot and I don't, and I'm not good at being funny as long as I'm not confident.... well, because of this I feel she's too good for me. That I don't stand a chance AT ALL to get her interested. I've never felt this way for a girl before. I CAN NOT let her go, that would ruin me... as I said, we're on the same group on the concerts in a few days, so what do I do?! I don't speak up much, at least when she's around...
Well you can't let her go if you were never had her, and from what I can see all you guys have in common that you know about, is music. You have to try make find some free time during music to talk to her (usually before music class starts) and try find out more about her. You may not even know if you really like her yet because you haven't got to know her. Some people just think they like others because of looks, or if you think you like her then you might become be pressured into doing things that you don't want to do (and by doing something you don't want to do I mean doing something that is dangerous or harming to you/her). But really just go up to her and talk to her if you screw up you can just laugh it out and tell her that you like her. The worst thing that can happen if she doesn't like you is that she will slap you and tell her friends that you asked her out. but that isn't the end of the world people will forget about it eventually if you don't make a big deal out of it. Cmon you're in high school you don't need to worry about girls anyways. This might not be the best advice but it's just my opinion, if someone wants to correct some things by all means do it.

I do not know for sure but I have high suspicions this is why my asian girlfriend of 4 years suddenly dumped me a few months ago not long after moving back in with her parents. There was a lot of friction between her and them and they didn't care much for me because I wasn't asian and wealthy and I was also not welcome there. (she told me that herself long before this happened) She was my best friend and we had a great relationship and I was gonna propose to her but now it seems like she is gone out of my life forever. We don't talk at all now. It is as if I never existed to her. Its a horrible feeling to be cut off an rejected like that. It was the first and only true long term relationship I ever had that actually worked.
That's worst...at least i can talk to her but not as often as before...before we always talked as much as possible from after school late into the night around 12:50...now were lucky if we can chat for an hour. She's moved farther away as well wich already was an issue for us.

I let him go. My uncle died 1 year ago today. He was a really good guy. Was like a second father to me, always taking me out or ice cream and to go look at cars. He is the reason I am the way I am today. I used to spend all day in his garage working on his Chevy Bel Air with him. I saw him a week before he died..... I forgot to say goodbye. Your room seems empty so suddenly, so you leave. But your umbrella is too big. I'll do it short: I'm shy and lack confidence, but I'm not the shyest person in the world, though, and people think I'm kind so they don't hate me or anything, but I'm not that... popular guy.
I've just completely fallen for this girl one year older than me, though I've known her for 1 year now. This is her last year of high school, and my second year. She likes rock, but she is blond, smiles all the time, very happy and kind to everyone. She also seems very confident. We go music school, and we're now going to play a concert for two days, and we're on the same group (luckily). Though I try to smile at her when our eyes meet and she smiles back, say "hi" to her in the hallway, and spoken to her alone only two times. Today I spoke to her when we left school. I said she was a very good singer, asked if she was looking forward to the concert, etc. and we said "Good bye" to each other. So what's the problem, you ask? Well... confidence. I feel, since she is confident, rocks on guitar (and I play piano...) she speaks a lot and I don't, and I'm not good at being funny as long as I'm not confident.... well, because of this I feel she's too good for me. That I don't stand a chance AT ALL to get her interested. I've never felt this way for a girl before. I CAN NOT let her go, that would ruin me... as I said, we're on the same group on the concerts in a few days, so what do I do?! I don't speak up much, at least when she's around...
Well you can't let her go if you were never had her, and from what I can see all you guys have in common that you know about, is music. You have to try make find some free time during music to talk to her (usually before music class starts) and try find out more about her. You may not even know if you really like her yet because you haven't got to know her. Some people just think they like others because of looks, or if you think you like her then you might become be pressured into doing things that you don't want to do (and by doing something you don't want to do I mean doing something that is dangerous or harming to you/her). But really just go up to her and talk to her if you screw up you can just laugh it out and tell her that you like her. The worst thing that can happen if she doesn't like you is that she will slap you and tell her friends that you asked her out. but that isn't the end of the world people will forget about it eventually if you don't make a big deal out of it. Cmon you're in high school you don't need to worry about girls anyways. This might not be the best advice but it's just my opinion, if someone wants to correct some things by all means do it.
