Almost 8 years ago, I unfortunately lost my father at age 5. I loved him to bits, and I was confused why everyone was crying because I didn't understand death. I found out what it meant, and I miss him everyday. I wish I had a father, like everyone else.
Is life really worth living when everyday I hate myself for the mistakes I made and will make . Life to me isn't worth living when you have no ambition and I don't have any ambition or anything to be known for and I can't get a job or go to college due to my mental state and my crippling depression. I have lost friends, family members, loved ones, pets and more and I just don't wanna live any longer. The only thing I enjoy doing is sitting at home playing games, listening to music, eating food and singing and I just wanna die

You know, me and my best friend at their mom used to listen to this song a lot through the past. We used to scream this song in the car but we got into a fight we forgave each other but I know it won't ever be the same, I just miss him we will be friends again in the future he just needs time but my sister has her friend over and they remind me so much of me and them it breaks my heart seeing it. I remember laughing with them smiling so much. Even though we fought a few times I never had to fake a smile or laugh around them. I love them so much and I'm so ready for them to take me back into their life but for now it's just memories, the happiest memories I ever had.

This song is really meant for people who held someone so dear that they lose themselves while trying to treasure them .. but then only we realise that we lose something ( ourselves) while trying to protect them.
I once had someone i held dear. That was untill she left me and i lost myself because of it. Im currently living with depression, trust issues and anxiety and some suicidal thoughts but i still have my life to take care of and im trying to find a reason for living.

This song is mine and my firstborn daughter's song. When she passed onto the next life was when I first heard this song. Listening and singing along with it was my form of therapy to not only help myself through that difficult part of my life, but to also help my four sons and their biological father through our grieving process. It's very true that we as humans show our love to our loved ones by letting them go when God says it's their time. All we have to do is believe in Him, Follow His Laws, and believe that someday we will all be reunited with our loved ones in Heaven. As long as we are good souls, find and learn about God and believe, we can be saved of our sins as long as it's not a major sin, like murder, Greed for money, etc. 😇
