  • REAL LIFE DAY IN THE LIFE | Homeschooling Mom of 2 day in the life | Einkorn Sourdough starter | VLOG 2020 + Bloopers
Video message from the heart:: OOO That FACE!! Aiden didn't want to do lessons, he ran out of the room about three times, gave me ugly looks, but hugged me anyway! Real Life homeschool struggles. I don't make him sit still, he wiggles but I encourage him that if we persevere, we can just be done. He is a sweet boy, but as sweet as he is, he would prefer not to do school. When he runs out or doesn't listen I try my best to be kind and patient, bc I don't want him to hate lessons even more.
Alright guys, Welcome back or welcome if you are new here!! WARNING: This is a long one!! If you want to see more videos like this please give me a thumbs up. Enjoy an entire day from morning to night, almost 12 hrs of vlogging, condensed down for you here. Go ahead and set me up in your kitchen, your desk, living room or laundry room, lets do life together. I almost didn't vlog this day, after my morning time in the bible I decided to just start recording! I start off with a helpful tip that helps me keep my sanity every day! You'll see me cleaning up, feeding my einkorn sourdough starters, make levain, homeschool, laundry, make a last minute store run for dinner, clean, make dinner , and in the end (the next day) I added-on, making a loaf of bread and bagels!! Best bread ever!! PLUS DO NOT miss my little bloopers at the end!
    Einkorn Sourdough Levain
    120g(1/2c) warm whole Milk
    60g(1/4c) warm water
    2 Tbsp Agave
    330g (2 3/4c) all purpose Einkorn flour
1 1/4 tsp sea salt or real salt
2 Tbsp melted and cooled unsalted butter plus some
Combine first four ingredients, combine dry ingredients separately, and then mix those two together in a medium/large bowl using a stiff spatula. This will form a wet sticky dough, once together add butter and stir that in until it is absorbed.
Cover dough with lid on bowl or plastic wrap. Let dough sit for 15 minutes then turn the dough once. Place dough back in the bowl, tightly covered and let rest for 3-5 hrs.
Generously coat your bread pan with unsalted stick butter. Fold the dough one more time and shape into an 8" over by rolling and pinching all seems. Place oval dough in the bread pan with last seem side down, cover and let proof at room temp for 60 minutes or until loaf rises 1/2 above pan.
Preheat oven to 425. Once you are ready to place your loaf in the middle of the oven uncovered, close, lower temp to 375 and bake for 40 minutes. When done, place on a cooling rack for 15 minutes. Plop bread out of pan onto the cooling rack, let cool with a towel draped over it for atleast 2 hrs. Do not slice until fully cooled. Eat bread within 3 days. If I know we wont eat it within three days, I freeze it, or freeze half of it.

Thank you for watching! Oh man, your better than me! I do wash some things by hand. Maybe I need to start hiring the dishes out! How early can I put all the dirty dishes on my daughter? 😆
