Early xenon cars had a remote ballast unit, later ones were mounted on the light unit
I can only hope that is an amazing car to drive because working on it looks like a labor of love, not of logic.
that extra thing on your other headlight looks like a ballast to me usually it is for cars with xenon lights.

@@BlocksRetroRepairs showed my friend who was a tech that used to work at Audi your video he laughed not even they want to work on those 1st gen TT's no space to work on them.
Why not blow all the leaves of outside before bringing it in?
