@@PissTakeProduction hey bloke it's your lucky day. I ran over a left thong the other day on me way home from cenno in mums hundy excel so I stopped and picked it up. What size are ya?
I hope you know how fortunate you are to have a man with the skillset like Colin going over your bike…not to mention being a machinist! Livin’ the dream! Go Danny Go!
12lb in the rear tire, and a good kidney belt. I did Sydney to Melb on a rigid Triumph Bonny in 1979 with an 8 over springer when I was a 19 year old nutter...all in the rain, with no goggles. Ahhh, the good ole days...good luck young fella!
Indian Larry is a guy I think you'd probably relate to mate. He also suffered from life-long psychological problems and chronic loneliness (depression I guess). He once wrote: "The right bike, the right day, the right road, I just pretty much feel at one with the universe. When I feel like I don't fit anywhere or I'm lonely or I'm like all screwed up in the head, I get on my bike and go for a ride and it's like all of the sudden, I'm fixed." He was a big wheel in the chopper world, some would say he was the last of the real old-school chopper builders (before all those OCC billet things and the retro hipsters took over). He died when he crashed while standing bolt-upright on his seat, hands out to the side, at 55 years old.
Danny, you can see Indian Larry and his work on Biker Build-Off, a reality show from the early 2000's. Some may say he might still be alive today had he been wearing a helmet when he had his accident, but he was his own man. A sad loss, R.I.P.
Indian Larry Built his own motors also ,i mean literally, The Heads started out as two blocks of steel, He prided himself on building an indestructible motor. Gone way to soon.
Take a few tools. I did 5 hours (only 200 miles) on my rigid Shovel last summer and was very pleased to get off it and soak in the tub. Really looking forward to the next episode-Good luck! PS think the 16psi advice spot on! 👍😎
Lets put it this way. Im not sure but i believe i would rather ride my 61 pan(year not c. i.) a thousand miles before I'd ride my 2003 dyna twinkie. The pan had a wishbone frame, foot clutch, 12 inch apes an only a rear brake. Hardtails ain't as bad a every body who don't own one says they are.
Good to see you're still alive, thought the Iron Butt would be a bit of you. Just surprised it took you so long to get around to it. Not my idea of fun but we're all different I guess.
That chopper is beautiful that paint job oh my God I can't say enough good things about it. Can't wait to see the next video on how you made out. You're just to let you know I live in Delaware in the United States
Enjoy the ride Danny and good luck, it will be epic! I did the saddlesore two years ago on Fathers Day riding a '19 Softail Slim. Finished it in 21 and half hours taking half hour breaks at fuel up except for one, I took a full hour about half way through.
Collin is the best!! I rode a rigid for years, shovelhead, being a S&S motor you should have no problem, run 6th gear and relax, avoid anything on the road larger than a cigaret butt, you'll thank me later, good luck!!
😂Danny mate, it's a good job you've got Col at Geolong H-D otherwise you'd have aan accident. Team up with Col and a video together about pre-ride checks and basic routine maintenance as it could save wear and tear as well as big bill.
My OL Lady did 1800 miles in 32 hours. She also has 130,000 miles on the back of my bike in 5 1/2 years and she has 18 more states to have the lower 48 states in the United States. Thanks Doberman
Just received my M$B hat in charcoal,it is a beaut,good quality,very comfortable.
I look like a cashed up bogan now.
thanks mate, yes all the gear is of the highest quality !! milliondollarbogan.com.au/

Colin is not only a master craftsman, but also a champion.
Its funny how colins enthusiasm changes when hes working on an older bike rather than adding “snot” to the lowrider 😂
How blessed to have a friend like Cole. So awesome to watch you two together.
Colin has the patience of a Saint & the sarcasm of a Legend
you can tell how much colin loves the old bikes!
You won't find a proper mechanic like Colin anymore these days. Amazing
I hope you know how fortunate you are to have a man with the skillset like Colin going over your bike…not to mention being a machinist!

How the fuck can he relate to Indian Larry when he has a tribute bike sitting in his living room with no idea who the fuck Indian Larry is.
The retro hipsters started riding them, is what i think you meant to say.

"Theres no safety with a panhead" sayeth the wise man.
Love the Indian Larry tribite!
What a privilege to have Colin service your bike. Such a master. Nice biceps Danny.
I like how Danny always asks everyone the same questions over and over. Like he’s always looking for reassurance. Love it!

Colin and the guys at gee long are good chaps. That’s a Great looking bike Colin built. Ride safe.
I certainly don't claim to be the best judge of character, but Col certainly seems to be a top notch gentleman.
I once hit a pothole on my springer EVO hard tail and felt it in my fillings!

Hi Danny well that video was worth watching good real stuff. Can’t wait for the ride. Can’t get better than Colin and his mechanics just saying
How good is Colin! All the best with it Danny.
Since you bought an Indian Larry tribute bike from Colin, you should do some research and a video about him.
Cant wait for this adventure. This is gonna be a good one. I feel ur pain already
Go for it Danny!! Best of luck and I hope you succeed all in one piece! So looking forward to your next video!
Wow that’s a huge ride especially on the hard tail, good luck can’t wait for the video 👏👍

Beautiful bike Colin. Very excellent nod to Indian Larry
But please get a chain on there.
your rule is the best one. Don't die
enjoyed the video, good to see a older bike.
Throw an Airhawk seat on it and have at it. Finished an IronButt (SS1000, on a Super Tenere 1200) a few months ago. Glad I did it. Good luck!
Excedrin (pain management and caffeine) and Aleve are your friend on this one.

Very excited about the ride ❤
Yes beautiful Danny another adventure on the hardtail excellent 😊
It’s like a Jag. I got told once if it’s not leaking they send it back to be fixed so it leaks oil.
Colin is the man. Danny & Colin ride New Zealand
I recommend a spring seat, and taller gears.
Col is a REAL mechanic. Fucking unreal

Someone send Col on a well-deserved road trip. He probably needs it.
Brilliant video 👍🏻 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I love Colin, I would get my Harley-Davidson from his Dealership, unfortunately I live and ride in South Africa. Softail CVO Deluxe
The bikes a thing of beauty 🥰

You are a true inspiration sir!
Love the old school jacket Danny
haha! I love your adventures! Rock on champ! 🤘
I love watching Col
Colin is the man 👍👍
I can't wait for part 2
This should be epic. But it would be WAY better if the bike were Kickstart only.
That's an awesome idea, stay safe hey.
Colin is a champion!!!
Good luck mate.
I'd be happier with a more reliable machine. But that's your choice...😄
Colin needs his own merch line
Rather your back than mine, but that's a great way to do it. On a nice looking chop and paying homage to indian larry.
rigid chopper on AUS roads, you got balls my man.
I hope David comes along for this one..
Love that bike...I have one similar.
Just stating the obvious but we all need a mechanic like Col.
Benchmark service.
UNIVERSAL WISDOM: You pays your money, You's take your chances 💚
That s&s pan would have been nice in a pre 1970 rear shock Frame
Love the chopper ❤ they look awesome there slow but as long as it does the speed limit 😅
