Imma cancer and my birthday is the 25th 😁 I am so excited for the 21th the longest day of the year and the summer solstice! Not only is the 21th the day I finish school and all my exams, it’s my favorite singers birthday and the summer solstice. Can’t wait to celebrate :))
Help with roses: My best tips for roses are from Indigenous practices and my wonderful friend, Stephanie. Feed the rose bush: as you plant a nice deep hole for your rose add fish (inexpensive canned is fine) fill in with potting soil that is rich and fluffy. Prune the dead flowers off your rose to increase flowering, always grab the dead flower and trim the branch back to the first five section leaf (skipping single leaves and triple leaves). Water well to establish your roses and water generously to maintain them. Clear away the trimmings to help keep your rose happy. 🌈💚

I adore roses. One of the easiest ways I give them a bit of extra care is to feed them with some rose specific fertilizer a few weeks before they start to bud out. If you are worried about overfeeding, cut the amount in half as it is easy to "burn" a plant and cause yellow leaves and kill the blossoms.

I have a beautiful scented rose in my garden. I harvest the petals and they smell absolutely gorgeous ❤
I grind up a few of the petals with some salt and sprinkle round the boundaries for protection and love.

Love your video as always, just wanted to share a tradition in the 24 of June we have done for generations and has never failed. When the sun is raising you stand against the sun and check your shadow, if the neck is visible you will live another year, if only see your body and head you better arrange for your absence because you wil die before a year passes. Maybe is macabre but never fails.

@Ginny Metheral I'm a practicing Buddhist and teach bi monthly Buddhism 101 classes at my temple. Im teaching this month. Either on healing the inner child or finding balance in life, if you've seen anything about the social and political situation here in America, a teaching on finding our balance is much needed ! Lol My two goals in life has always been to be a spiritual teacher and a visual artist. The practice of ending suffering within oneself and helping others who ask is in a nutshell what Buddhism is all about. 😊🙏🏼

I feel like this video was weirdly specific to me: I enjoy metal detecting (I'm going to try the fern trick), and I have a "pet" wild squirrel that comes into my house and even lets me pet it. One of these days I'm going to upload a video of it. Maybe I should make a pet of it on June 14th LOL? I love folklore, I enjoyed this video very much, thank you!
Please do not attempt to make your squirrel buddy an indoor "pet". The wild squirrel is honoring You by visiting you. Should you let it into your house in an attempt to keep it, your home will see instant destruction as it is not domesticated creature.

@@BlissfulBombshells I was just kidding about making it a pet, because it was mentioned in the video. That would be awful for both the squirrel and me. But it does enjoy hanging out on my porch and occasionally walking into my foyer to get a peanut if I leave the door open. It's a very special friend that I cherish immensely.

I really really love your videos and content, but I wish you wouldn't use the word gypsy, technically speaking it's a rather derogatory term for the Romani people. Not everyone views it that way, even some Romani are trying to reclaim it, but a lot of people do take issue with it.
