David Bowie copied this for his look during the China Girl tour days, no doubt about it. I love the Sparks video of Russell singing Never Turn Your Back on Mother Earth most of all. He looks so grounded and natural in that video and something about him made that average polyester suit look special on him. You will see what I mean if you look it up and watch it. He looks so composed and healthy and organic there.

That doesn't mean that we can relax, still being cautious is of great importance! I'm still living in the countryside with a friend, 30 kilometers outside one of the smallest towns in Sweden, located 45 km from a medium size city. In one of the (Corona) best areas. It has been one of areas with less cases through the epidemy so far. Sparks is my daily escape from everything! Can't say how much they mean to me. I'm not a bit religious, but "Thank God I rediscovered them"! Keep safe, Rob!

Do you seriously believe Russell sings that as a literally spokesman for Ron, or a character singing? Russell in that age, singing those words, is like Christi Haydon or Catherine Zeta Jones in the same age, in character, in a play or movie, would complain over their looks. It just loses credibility and appears comically.
This is a really great, energetic performance by Sparks. I was lucky enough to see them recently at The Royal Albert Hall in London on 30th May 2023 and Russell was still bouncing around like the Duracell Bunny!
