Cool update appreciate it. No one ever warned me how horrible it would be to get off so thanks for the tip with the phenergan gonna attempt another time to get off it and back to sleeping normally and waking up with energy. Hope you're doing well these days
I’m 8 months off from taking it for 12 years I was on 200mg for the longest time but got down to less than 20mg for a couple years before quitting cold turkey. So fast forward 8 months later of absolutely nothing and my head space still isn’t right. How long did it take for your head to get right? Also I should mention I was on this med for anxiety and ptsd only and not for depression or bipolar
I'm currently trying to reduce from 50mg seroquel...they say not to cut xr tablet but literally for mine the only way that seems to work is by using scissors to cut half off a 25mg tablet
@@battlewithbipolar things are going good..last night was 4th consecutive night with taking full 25mg seroquel and roughly half a seroquel pill...yes a pill cutter would make it a more even split as not easy with scissors cutting such a small pill
How are you doing now in 2021? This video was taken a while ago and I was searching for help on here. How was the withdraws after the two weeks. Do you feel yourself again?
I felt much better off this medication and I’ll never go on it again. It was the only thing that helped me sleep for hours uninterrupted but the withdrawals are not worth going back on it
@@Jemmy14615 my sleep is ok I do have trouble falling asleep at night sometimes it takes me a couple of hours to fall asleep but I’ve suffered from insomnia for years

D. Reyes that sucks. Did you ever get off it?
Try water titration and go down 5mg every 5 months
Hi, did you lose the weight you gained whilst on seraquil once you stopped?
Yes I did lose the weight, the seroquel was messing with my metabolism so made it hard to lose weight on it
Did you ever get the laugh back?
how long did it take?
@@r0b0bert no I didn’t. It didn’t come back
@@owzaeer6675 the weight loss took a couple of months maybe two or three

You can always go to your local pharmacy and get a pill cutter. It cuts your pills to the size you want them to be
