How cute and well behaved boy! And how grate techniques you have...I have 3 Poms but I never cutted nothing to them, they are lets say fluffy wild-natural look...with grate coat..so Im just brushing and washing them...My first one was champion and I had no idea how to do it and spent a lot of money on grooming...once after taking him home-he looked they sed he must be tired, but in home I realized hes missing 2 teeth! But ofcourse I cud not proved it happened there..so I highly appreciate youre videos-The best on UA-cam about poms..So now Im looking and learning in how to do it my self,if I will need it..So TY a lot Patty! Im getting subscribed..to learn from you all I can,not only about poms but all type of dogs..COS we around dont have good groomers, maybe will be able to help neighbors with their pets..So TY a lot, aguen ..Good luck with all and keep a good work going! ;)

Areli Moreno Thank you. He is a bit of a spoiled brat. I have to beg him to eat and give him different food. He likes to howl, he is a very funny dog.

Such a wonderful job. I have a retired champion I just adopted and I was curious how I can find a groomer who is familiar with show cuts? Thanks for any info, my groomer did a great job on my last Pom but she was shaved since we adopted her. I’d like to not have this one shaved. 😊

Your dog might need beneficial bacteria. Dog don't usually pass much gas unless they are having a tummy upset.

I realize she is just cutting for a show, but I hope these Conformation shows soon change the trend of exposing AND highlighting the anus like a huge bulls eye. It looks like more than 50% of the rearend coat was removed from the Pom in this video.
Poms have great coats and there is no reason to highlight an a-hole instead of their natural features. One of the reasons they do this is to make the back look short and to make the dog look more square (short bodied).
The Pom breed has really strayed far from what an actual Pom should look like. I have a Pom that is so short-backed, his center of balance is off. They are doing more harm to the breed than good. And let's not forget all the cottony-looking Champoins that have Alopecia once they hit 3 years old. The shows are favoring black skin disease.

Poms with lots of hair around the anus get HUGE CLUMPS OF DRIED FECES stuck to them. They go crazy trying to rub it off and make it worse. So like other huskies who have a tail up exposing the anus, they have an exposed anus for practical reasons. If it bothers you dont look at it.

His head looks as tho holding up his neck. Yes I'm brand new. Idc Westminster. I am looking for 1-3 wins. Mainly my daughter bread him. She is Grim Reapers kennel. Not my choice of names. But her main breed is working line shepherds. A lot are in police work. All over country.
Savannah has name. Ton of followers. But Mr Jensen Edward has stance. A groomer will be working him.
Tho a pup. Not pixie face like Savannah. He is leash trained. 9 weeks old took to a leash beautifully. He's more on large sized Poms. This is what I wanna leave her with. " Win was bc of my mom. She began at 61"
Only have 2 Poms. If our home was bigger. I'd love to have house full. 3 years ago. No. Not me. After Savannah Grace. I found out I was pommy mommy. He's 4 months old. Just now coming outta puppy uglies. Lol I put jammies on at night rd. Now. 2 reasons. Puppy uglies and tells brain. Go to sleep.
Guide me pls. What should I be doing. Not doing with Mr Jensen rd now.
I'm not shucking and moving. They have strollers. Only to potty. Or inside home are their feet on ground/floor
