I was a World’s finalist 2008/2009- don’t ever down play the importance of worlds being world champs- or getting your bid - even in the early ddays, because you were the best of the best & yes, cheer today, is “WOAH” compared to the skills ect. Of then , but your skills were the best of the best! & “WOAH” to all the teams there at the time & at every competition that lead to worlds, “you ARE Woah” for, I don’t know if I told this, or it’s just what I believed in my heart, but worlds was the stepping stone cheerleading needed to get into the Olympics! I remember finding out cheerleading was going to be in the 2020 Olympics & I thought “WOAH! I did that, I was apart of that! It’s special! Now, i bet most teams or indv. Cheerleaders don’t even care about cheer in the Olympics, BC worlds has become its “ Olympics “ bc it’s truly the ALL of the BEST or the best & better than I think what could be produced one USA cheer team.
