Mercedes Benz MSF Unimog - vehicle concept by Máté Treffler (4K 60fps)

This project was a cooperation between Mercedes-Benz and
Moholy-Nagy University of Arts and Design.
The aim of this semester project was to design a humanitarian vehicle for Mercedes-Benz. Tha task was to find a response to a geographical or social crisis, thereby also helping people in trouble there.
From the very beginning, I envisioned my plan with a humanitarian organization, Doctors Without Borders, as a fictitious cooperation opportunity.
The background to the project is the Syrian civil war conflict. The MSF, as a humanitarian organization, has been present in the area for a long time and has supported the civilian population with the necessary medical care.
However, in the never-ending heat of the civil war, a series of attacks hit the hospitals set up by the organization, so the MSF withdrew all its foreign volunteer staff from Syria in several stages.
I wanted to respond to this crisis in this concept. I have created a vehicle in which volunteers could return to their original mission, but they could already do so in a safer environment for them.
