Viola Davis is one of the finest working actors working today---film or theater, young or old, male or female, black or white. If ever she were to perform on stage again, RUN, don't walk! Be prepared to have an experience!
VIOLA DAVIS gives the BEST and most heartfelt acceptance speeches. Her speeches make ME want to cry. LOVE this talented lady so much!! Incidentally she won BOTH of her TONY awards and her OSCAR for AUGUST WILSON productions. Unusual coincidence. Hope to see her perform on Broadway one day. I think I would enjoy that very much.
I saw her in Fences live, standing room only... I was BLOWN AWAY. The theatre was SO ELECTRIC. So many black folks buzzing and so many wigs stuck on the wall... Also Viola IS THE BEST. And she’s been giving great speeches since forever 🙏🏾
what? she was already in the business at that time? i came to know about her when i saw doubt in 2009, her 5 minutes appearance left me speechless (and took her to the oscars that year)
Ella es la mejor actriz en esté momento .... Ojala gané su segundo Oscar .. Ya es hora q una mujer d Color lo vuelva a ganar en la categoria Principal ... Y pienso q la indicada es ella ...
Viola Davis 💜 such a genuinely humbling person I so admire. I’m reading her book, Finding Me and at the part where she talks about this moment accepting the Tony. Her speech gave me tears. Great moment. Great book.
After reading her book this acceptance speech has me in tears. Truly inspirational
Literally just got to this part in her book and I had to watch this. Literally in tears right now.

She owned doubt in 5 minutes on screen
She’s been in the business since the 90s
Such a gracious and humble acceptance. Loved it
How she has come full circle becoming an EGOT this 2023 🥺👏🏼 LEGEND ❤
Finally reading her book.... what a transformation
Viola is the only here who became a film star (and during her 40s).
I remember reading all ten of August Wilson's plays back in college, and KING HEDLEY II was one of my favorites :)
here after reading her book which ultimately was insane... like wow she really worked her ass of for this
Winner Oscar 2017!!!

Love her so much.
This award began her EGOT journey! 😁
This looked like it was filmed in 1974
Wow.
Why did the presenter read the envelope like that🤔🤨
I think she was trying to be suspenseful 😂
Where it all began….
She is a diva!
wow just look at that room
That's a hard 36. She looks younger now.
Damn that’s rude
