- 2021 NCAA Men's Pole Vault Champion Branson Ellis practices early in the indoor season for his senior year. Branson is among the best pole vaulters in the world. He holds the Texas HS state record (UIL) at 18' 3 1/2" as well. I get to go to SFA pole vault practice, train and hang out with the athletes and coach. They are impressive.
