Wow that was beautiful! There's something kind of zen about drifting when you get into the zone and you feel the flow motion and the transmitter is just an extension of your mind 👍😎👍
Ohhh man, finally someone that understand the mindset needed to control these freaky tiny things 😊 curiously enough I've took out the mini z from the shelf this week to bind it to a Flysky Noble nb4. It's amazing, you feel even more connected to the car. Possibly new video with remote view soon.
Very very very helpful Mini-Z AWD Drifting clip to newbie like me (who just got my Mini-Z AWD 2 weeks ago). That is very difficult to find clips showing how you actually manipulate the remote. Your clip really shows us how and what to practice against. Thx a lot!!
Thanks. I'm glad that this video can help. The biggest thing for me is the surface. I can control the car even at lower speeds when the surface I'm using is super smooth and very very slippery. Try different surfaces if you can or if you are struggling to keep the drift at lower speeds
Excellent video my friend! Superb skills, to anyone not into drifting it probably looks easy, trust me, I know it's not and you have a gift! Totally relaxing watching this superb little car and it's master!
I have those hop ups and not installed them yet, the trick is the fingers and for sure the surface/tires, I can't drive like that on tiles or something else, the car picks up much more speed and it's difficult to control. Try different surfaces to better suit your tire compound or vice versa if you can buy different compound tire sets
Hi! Saludos from Portugal. The surface is very important to do a slow controlled drift. The surface I'm using is some polipropileno sheets. Basically smooth and very slippery.
The biggest thing for me is the surface. I can control the car even at lower speeds when the surface I'm using is super smooth and very very slippery. Try different surfaces. All stock. I've only locked the diffs with diff putty.
Thanks; my I guess my fake wood floor has too much grip and the 020 isn't balanced evenly. I can drift much slower and better with my RWD DriftArt but that has a gyro. I'll see if the Kyosho gyro helps later.
On this clip only rear diff was locked with diff putty. The most important thing on a rtr is disassemble it and look for binding parts on the drivetrain..the car should be free as a butterfly when coasting
Hi, it's polipropilene sheet, PP as usually called, it's kinda like lexan but harder. It's very very slippery and it makes the car slide with much less throttle than on ceramic tiles.
What mods do you have or is this stock? What tires? How long did it take for you to practice this? I just started and I used to play a lot of games but no rc cars and I stuck at this controller. I'm only good at mouse keyboard stuff. I know how to drift, I just suck at this controller I bought one just to literally master exactly what you are doing and this is the video I was looking for!
I got you. Rc drifting is very different from games and real life feeling, smaller scales even more different if it makes sense. Some of the physics doesn't scale down from the reality. That's why we don't have rc tires filled with air for example. Back to mini Z specifically, I think the key to this one like I've mentioned before is the surface man. I've tried many different things but the better ones are smooth and slippery as fuck surfaces like in this video I'm using some plastic sheets like lexan or something similar. On the tiles the car pick up much more speed and it's difficult to get back on control of the car.

That’s smooth
What’s the differential setup on it? I like it a lot
So satisfying! I was asking me if buying one was a good choice? Finally I bought it twice for me and my brother ahaha
Did you get one ..or 2 ? 😄
Control Level: 1000
Wow nice control sir. I didn't need the front one way and the CS mod then since all you did is lock the rear diff. That and practice.
Are you in demo mode?
Awesome driving skill👍
Looks fun! These are sold out everywhere though
You can find some at Pole Position Modelismo in Portugal, talk to Alex.
Hello, very neat and tidy driving. Thnx indeed. Looks like the trick is not in gyro and one-way diff but in the fingers itself :)

Hola, que material es la pista? saludos desde Perú

Wow, this is great. Do you have locked differentials or other tires on this?

mini z 👍😊👍
Impressive. Any mods to the Mini-z in this clip?

G'day! Nice work! yes I also wanted to know if this is stock or upgraded thank you!
Stock AWD MA-020, only locked the stock rear diff 👍
@@RCGIGSportugal thanks mate!
Hello sir, wondering if your car is stock or modded
Stock AWD MA-020, only locked the stock rear diff 👍
RCGIGSportugal you have very good control sir, thank you for replying
Mine can't do tight circles like this anymore idk y its less controlling now
Maybe you need more steering lock. You can adjust that on the remote.
Waiting for my skyline to arrive. Is it possible to drift well without the chip?
My mini Z is box stock, only rebuilt it myself on day 1 . Nothing else
Do you have rear diff locked or it's not nesesery?
I've locked the rear with diff putty only.
Thanks for toi tutoriel
Very nice 👍
Subscribe 👍💪👍👍👍👍
Is this in training mode ?
Full power available.
