I got one of these for my 18th. Absolutely outstanding knife, it's still in perfect shape after over 4 years of being owned by me (more than most things can say). I actually dropped on the tar the first time I opened it and it was no worse for wear
I have the launch 13. It looks a bit funky but it’s ended up being my favorite knife I’ve owned. Def wanting to add the launch 6 to my collection. Awesome review.
I just picked one of these up, it's amazing for the price point. It's a legit Kershaw switchblade for a little over a hundred bucks. The button may take a bit of finesse or have a break in period I'm not sure, but it's fine either way.
I added a blade lock on mine. I love this knife and the blade lock design i came up with was not difficult to do and works very well. I can easily lock and unlock with the same thumb that i use to release the blade.
Where can I get a blade lock for my kurshaw launch six? I have had it open in my pocket a couple of times and there is nothing else in my pocket. Just being pushed from the outside, did it.
Love this knife, great review. Spot on on everything. I now own two launch series knives. Only complaints I have is that the button is a bit sticky due to the tension the blade is under. I add a little Lube in the button. The other isn’t really an issue and that is that my finger gravitates toward the pivot screw not the button, more of a training thing than a problem but it’s a thing when I’m not thinking about it.
I very much enjoyed your video on the Kershaw launch 6. You did a very outstanding job. I love the one I have but with one exception. It has opened in my pocket a couple of times due to something pressing on the pocket from the outside. There is nothing else in the pocket. Is there a lock that I can install on this? If so, Where can I purchase it?
I've been doing a lot of research on getting my first auto blade for work and self defense. I've seen a lot of mixed reviews on the button release for this blade, and have seen a lot of people saying it sticks or you need stronger hands to use this blade, so I was wondering if this is a truly a good blade to get, and if this is reliable with a button I won't have to worry about, thoughts?
I don't get the "out the side" claim. It looks like it launches the same as any other knife.I love kershaw knives, I have a few of them including one beautifully embellished by Santa Fe Stoneworks.
I carry a Launch 6 and my only real complaint with it is that the handle protrudes out past the start of the blade and it makes sharpening it a bit awkward.

We are differentiating between a "Side Fire" automatic knife vs. an "Out The Front" automatic knife.
Yay a new.one
You know how hard it sucks California hates Autos. And those 1.9” ones are cool but not $100 cool. The laws need to change.
California doesn’t respect the constitution, or its people as a matter of fact. I don’t comply with bullshit
