  • Welcome back to another episode all...
    So we end up driving 300m or so back out the track and found our nest for a couple weeks or more. I run ya's thru my solar set up as best as I could, but if I missed anything feel free to drop a comment.. We also get a good shower, so as I usually do when I'm in need of some fresh water, I get out there and collect some...same time I have a shower my self haha. We head off on a little fishing mission. Iv also throwing in some drone footage of around camp and up near the creek where we wet a line. So sit back all and put ya feet up while I takes ya's for a lap around camp.
    Please, if you'd like to support our travels so we can bring you more videos of this mad country, you can jump onto our website and if you see something ya's like feel free ta make a purchase.. it dose go a long way for us.

    Cheers all

    💯% with you on solar 👍
    Living full time off grid the quality panels I now use are voltech. I get around 9 amps per 200w panel in FNQ on a 28° to 38° day. I come across loads of travellers with flexible panels or expensive blankets and they struggle get 3 to 4 amps up here because of the heat or the angle of the set up. Good video and Awesome rig 🤠

      Yeah I did alright on the rocks out front just flicking lures. Didn’t try the low tied tho. But I’m still hanging around the places, so I’ll suss that out thank you. Been up to SHs and she’s very nice up there. Just can’t camp there anymore, but good going up there fishing and having a look around.

      @@Thecampman_Camping-Australia to be quite honest I think the editing is calm and relaxing!! Looks great, maybe with ya solar bit some yarn on models of the panels and how it’s all hooked up but I know you’re more about the life out there which is perfect mate!!! Editing is fine, I felt like I was watchin Sunday arv creek to coast for my cold beer drinking watch, but it was better, no adds no bullshit over the top sponsership segments, just good simple tag along man!!! Loving it all the way my g g!! ❤️

      Thanks for the feedback bro, and I’m glad you tell me that, coz I’m not sure what people wanna see. So I can definitely give more of a detailed video on how it’s hooked up etc. I’ll keep at it and see what else I can come up with for ya cold beer watch. Can say this, it’s gonna be a mad wet season so bring on the fishing.

    Looks a great location for a camp. So cool seeing the turtle tracks. Not seen them in the wild but been to a turtle sanctuary in Sri Lanka. Definitely amazing to see them close up. Cool vid. Cheers!

      It’s a very nice spot mate. Love the NT. The big turtles are still coming up to lay as well.
      I know what you mean, seeing stuff in a sanctuary is totally different to seeing in the wild. :) cheers for the support mate

      I’m not sure where you can get the nip pourer from, I got it at a pub I was working at sometime back. They had them style than swopped over to the electric ones. It’s called The Judge.

    • @Thecampman_Camping-Australia
      @Thecampman_Camping-Australia  2 роки тому +2

      Ay Des, all good running it when satiation. I have enough solar and a 150ah lithium battery that runs the Ute. I’ll usually cook in it and than leave it for a day to give it a good charge be for using it again. It’s just handy to use, specially when I’m out all arvo, I’ll put a feed In and she all done when I get home.
      Cheers man.
