The same thing happened at Phillip landing, a crocodile taking a cow while we watched, 20 years ago, (which is outside of Ayr,) they now have crocodile signs up there now ,so stay safe.

Those old cars and shack are Hemuts camp. He was an old German barra netter. Apparently he used to move up the top of the shack for the wet when it floods right Through there. Crazy

Right on, another great vid, I still think Dodge should have her own channel, strap a camera on her back and go. She would have to do her own editing though, be all food bowls and barra. cheers

God dam boy. That croc and cow brought back memories of my last barra fishing trip to Aussie 10 yr ago. We was camped at a remote boat ramp on the Ord and on the second day a massive croc surfaced next to one of my buddies sizing him up, we threw some sticks at him to scare him off. On the third day he swam up to us with a dead Brahman in his jaws, recon he did that just to intimidate us, which he did and we left. On the way back to kunnunurra he came across a rancher pushing a mob on Brahmans along the road, he said he loses about 200 head a year to the crocs and a few horses, largely the young ones. He pointed out a cow that looked like it had half it nose torn off and said that was a lucky one?

Such an amazing thing to ponder who took those things there and what rainbows were they chasing, so many dreams and experiences there.
We did a trip 30 years ago through the opal fields around Winton and Longreach so the history in the bush was amazing of the gear left behind after reality of this harsh land settles in and takes everything back. To see how far people pushed a wheel barrow a 100 to 150 years ago and where they got to just amazes me.
    Cheers Garry

Good stuff. I hooked a sawfish at Cape Keraudren once, they are tricky buggers to get off the hook - had no choice as the lines I use are just too heavy to snap. Luckily the fish and I got away uninjured :)
