Buy the aluminum hex hub, and metal diff gears if you plan to buy one. The 540 motor with the stock battery will chew through these parts. An upgraded C battery will lower the life even more.
People go all out on these converting all the plastic parts for alloy ones. Thing they dont realise is the secret to this trucks durability is flexible plastic parts! I have modified mine to do 95km on stock body and it takes the punishment!

Hey Kev. I found that the tires off the 1/10 scales fit right on the 1/12th scale one. Got the same 12mm wheel hexes Try putting the tires off the 1/10 scale on it. IT MAKES IT A BEAST!!!!!!
You also can set the speed on the radio.

I just received this in the mail today you guys and I haven’t ran it for more then 1 minute before it stopped rolling. The headlights and tail lights start blinking when it stops going. It’ll roll for about 1-5 seconds before it stops and starts the flashing. Like I said guys I just unboxed this thing

Hello. Love your videos!! I can't decide between this or the green one. The remote looks better on the B version. Looks like the light on top of green could get banged up if flips. Any recommendations??
As someone with both the green 12428 and the 12428b, can you confirm/deny the fitting of the body....I'm wanting to put the 12428b body on my 12428 green machine. Do the mounting holes line up etc??

A doubt I always had, I think you never said about it here on your channel, it's a question about tires. I can not buy expensive rc cars, so I bought a wctoys a959-b, I did some upgrades, and it was very stable, easy to drive, but as I do not always use it on sand or dirt or on low grass, but on the asphalt, the tires wear out very fast. Any option for tires that last longer on the asphalt? Plz! Save me! Thanks

They couldve done a better job on battery placement. The balance plug floppin everywhere is just askin to get damaged or worse, pulled out of battery. Plus if it were to land wrong, the battery could get damaged by say corner of a concrete slab. But durability wise it looks to b pretty stought

Ad a Lipo and they do move... handling isn't great even with better shocks but it's a lot of fun. The new ones come with metal gears. I figure order the cheapest one you can find and it's more likely to be the newest version because they're selling lots... it worked for me ;^) If you're going to put in another motor, order a motor mound and save yourself a lot of grief... the stock seems lok-tited within an inch of its life. 550 cheapo turns it into a crawler, brushless and it is too fast for the handling. Cheers...

I thought that was just a cheap plastic toy at first but it’s cooler than my $330 (NZD) kyosho monster tracker.

I had this car for a while and it's very good for the price, but sadly the axe of the steering wheel broke on the remote making it impossible to drive, and you can't replace the radio for a better one without changing half of the electronics. I also experienced issues with the differentials.
But otherwise, if you're careful when using it I totally recommend it, you can find LiPos to go with it very easily.
Same with mine, just buy a replacement

KEVIN I have bashed you and what you do to your vehicles but I still do enjoy watching your videos but I just hope people don’t get the idea that it’s the only spot to go to run their vehicles because I mean the skate park concrete areas like that or murder to RC cars especially if you’re jumping them. Nonetheless why do you not do an HPI savage flax or savage HP or flux xl???
