Thank you :D The gear isn't completely BIS when it comes to armour so a lot of pieces you should be able to pick up for like 15k - 25k. Headgear is from Genesis, Chest, Ring and Ear Ring is from PvP track Biggest cost is Bow and Spear.. Because keenly empowered does not transfer on weapon swap I had to switch out to a Sundering Javelin / keenly Jagged. I always want an effect on the enemy to get the extra 10% bow dmg. As you see in the video despite all the nerfs with these adjustments I think the build hits even harder or just as hard as before 😜

It's one of the perks I'm considering switching out. It does help with keenly Jagged and the Dot from explosive shot though. Having dots on your enemy as long as possible with bow is good as it also gives you the extra 10% dmg. It was mainly beneficial for poison shot but after the nerf It's not really great in pvp ( poison is mainly just a stat padder skill).
If you're pve then spear / hatchet is a pretty good melee combo. Spear to apply big rends following up with hatchet for the dps. I use that combo a lot in dungeons :) most combos are viable though if you set it up right so find something that suits your playstyle and keep tweaking from there.
Keep grinding man! I basically only do pvp and it took so long to get to 625. Much easier now - 2 x opr / 2 x arena and that's 4 gypsum casts a day just doing pvp. The brimstone update gives a lot of gypsum casts + shards so definitely go do all the missions + side missions. 625 in a couple of weeks!
I use to run the bleeding coupe de grace but since I don't anymore I will likely switch that up for one of the Stam Regen traits (Eg Invigorating crits or Strong Conditioning).

@@heitz18 you want it to drop 590 and above so you can upgrade to 625 so make sure your expertise is high enough (pretty sure you can upgrade thr armour and it becomes legendary at 600 but double check). I was lucky enough to get 600 straight away before umbral shards were a thing.

Thanks man - 580 to 625 makes a pretty big difference. You'll gain an extra attribute on all armour, jewellery & weapons. Alongside this your base weapon damage goes up as well. Hang in there! It's a grind to get to 625. If you play a lot of pvp make sure you do 2 x opr and 2 x arena per day - that's 4 gypsum casts. A lot of the brimstone sands quests also give you gypsum & shards so worthwhile doing. Can also get from faction vendor.

@@gaffgarion you can also double tap the cast button with most of the bow abilities. some of them will auto fire if you are aiming down sight and hit the cast button.
I'm only 530-545 expertise on all armor pieces except chest, it being at 577. Any tips on what armors to go for while moving up? I been running on medium load for a bit due to bad rng ;-;
Mainly as a use able fill in - a lot of builds (mine included) put a lot of rend on players to follow up with big DPS. Being able to reduce that time by 33% and the pieces are cheap on TP - not bad if you ask me ;) freedom, shirking fort/heals, etc.. would be better but then you're paying $80k+ a piece.
Thanks man. Bow/spear has a high skill ceiling so once you master it you can do a lot of damage. It's definitely not the easiest build to play and not the meta. I love it because you can play this build independently (not reliant on healers, support, etc..). It's also a lot of fun. So in my completely biased opinion.. yes it's the best for pvp :)
Yeah it's a tricky one - I'm still a bit confused as I get hit for 5k+ then again for 6k+ in less than half a second. Either some insane burst or a musket hits me at the same time that I can't see. You are right though! If I didn't go for that extra light attack I would not have been caught in the ice wall :p the greed of the kill and felt pretty safe as not many players can delete 11k hp in half a second
A good pvp bow that can be found in the world is the lazarus bow (can get from Lazarus dungeon). A good spear is Javelin of Dryadic Empowerment (you can get from genesis). They are not BIS but probably the best pvp weapons you can get that drop in the world ( it use to be my old setup).
So i gotta ask based on the way yu play. It seems like the javelin, explosive one shot is your go too. So why have emp explosive perk? it doesnt help your burst window at all since it happens after the arrow hits.
Great question man - the video is a bit of a highlight reel - most players will not get imploded by a Jav/explosive shot. You will either need to get their health down to like 50-60% and then jav/explosive to finish or open with javelin/explo and finish with light into pen shot. If they are close I'll usually switch to spear and chip away at health until I feel I can finish them or if they're at distance I'll then open with a jav. I'll post up some longer fights in my next vids or you can look at some of my previous ones.
You ever tried out ele dmg gems in Bow now with the new Runeglass stuff? Have a bow with Void Attunement and want to try out full void dmg build but not sure if its worth the money... :/
I haven't tried it myself but did think about it. I'm sure someone has done the math of it all and I'm not sure what spits out the highest DPS. I also wanted a few energising runeglass as well though so went down this road :)
Is Punishing Gambit worth it? In my opinion it is worse than regular Gambit, because you deal around 30-50 less dmg per hit, but you have this 2% more dmg once stamina is full (but in 3v3 and OPR stamina is almost never full).
Yeah I'll be switching it out to what I have in bow. The whole runeglass thing is pretty disappointing in terms of impact on build. A couple of little bonuses but all come at a trade off.
You can use this for PVE as well put probably switch evade shot to rain of arrows for more AOE. This build is perfect for the Spear as most groups will want you to apply rend which it does by the truck load in both pvp or pve
At the end of each OPR there is Rankings and you can sort by Rank. This video highlights my build and gameplay as I am regularly Rank 1 in the Rankings.

I'm curious. Why so much in constitution, while u don't use Spear at all :D Just Throw and combo. Wouldn't be better to put all in DEX and kill them faster?
Vid just shows some highlights - a majority of the time I'm in very close range combat. I play in the front line not the back so the extra con provides a lot of survivability. If I just sat in the back pew pewing arrows I'd go max dex but I prefer a more dynamic/versatile build that can handle all situations instead of pew pew and run :p after 300 you also get diminishing returns on dex and the extra con is very + the perks are very useful.
Would you use this same set of skills for each weapon while questing? Althought i dont think they are optimal for questing and leveling i think maybe i should run them in case i get in some open world fights, right? amazing video as always!
Hey Thomas! I use this build for open world questing and leveling as I'm usually always PVP flagged as well. If you're going into a dungeon though then switch out evade with rain of arrows. Evade is such an awesome skill for pvp but negligible in pve so Rain is much more beneficial.
@@heitz18 absoloutly! The main reason why people want a spear in dungeon is the rend it applies. With this setup one javelin is 25% rend for 10 seconds... + Perforate means rend cap is reached very quickly :)

It's one of the perks I'm considering switching out. It does help with keenly Jagged and the Dot from explosive shot though. If you can get this absolutely - having third perk as shirking fort/freedom would be BIS. Just very expensive and hard to find with wep perks as well.
