Get geared out and the best heartrune wont do more then 2-3 normal hits or like 1-2 heavy attacks depends on armor. How to increase your damage? Empower stacks on you count towards your heartrune and if your target has rend on them. Say you have keen empower. Now heartrune is an extra 15%
People without 8-9k con, that have resilient and decent gear? Its still good but not this great as this video shows. Go against groups that pvp from the start and bis.. not so much.. Then again alot of people are leaving this game because no real pvp content in over a year. Many new players from the update who are lost and die like in this video. GS has the easiest tracking right now for some odd reason and highest dps. Very easy to land hits Then light armor is just free reset constantly.. Especially with Sfort stacks which makes light similar to med/heavy but you still keep mobility. Sfort should of never been a thing. Then hatchet is just another get out of jail free card. See hatchets everywhere Constant hit.. Run... Heal.. Hit.. Run builds have been around from day one. Maybe one day we get some pvp love but i doubt it. The current road map made it clear the Dev team is pretty small

It doesn't ever do more than 100% base damage, increased crit chance, and possibly 20% more damage to enemies with Grit. But you absolutely devastate with it. Am I missing something? Berserk doesn't apply after swap, right? Are you just *that* geared?
With all the desync and stuns/roots Lights just the easiest to get out of crap. Add Sfort on light armor and you are basically med/heavy but you keep mobility. Silly really but Devs on this game dont pvp
Done a ton of testing but the GS does not scale 1:1 str dex. If you do 200 str 150 dex or vice versa the damage is the same. If you go all Str your damage is lower than the 200/150 setup. The best DPS I've found is 200/200 str dex but you con is low. 200/150 is the best overall but if you try 250 str 100 dex your dps is lower. The mathematician who designed the scaling system is an idiot. It's scales more of 0.5 to 0.5 instead of 1:1 as they stated.
@@C4Services You get diminishing returns the higher you go. Why 250 is lower vs 200/150 All attributes are like this. Even con. You get less the higher you go. Better to go for the perks then that little bit of dps difference.
I play on Whelps server and I'd say I win around 75% of my Arenas... When I fight Whelps at least 2 of my dead are dead within 8seconds. He just does so much damage so fast that you have to run, you can't try and stand toe to toe because he has defy death. I hate it because he seems like a raid boss lol, maybe and all ranged team would have a better chance (I'm melee)
@@boonius yeah I'd say a combination of shirking fort, good timing on dodges/counters and dealing enough damage that enemies have to focus more on avoiding rather than dealing damage

To be honest.. This game is not a balanced pvp game at all. There is a skill ceiling but its pretty small. Gear, builds, comp is king. Game is just filled with bugs, exploits etc that are ignored because the devs dont pvp. Don't get me wrong.. The pvp is fun but its just sad because its been hanging on by a thread. My main company mostly left and war is all anyone does pvp wise. Few opr (1 pvp map in a year all we got and even this was locked down for months because of a small bug the devs cared not to fix and instead shut opr down for months) Anyways.. We got to keep our territories (honestly we starting not to care. Even mut runs are dying off. What is endgame in this game? No idea) but after the recent dev roadmap.. PVP clearly is an afterthought. The dev team remaining must be small. Maybe these shell company changes can mix stuff up but my company never did this to start with. We always hold territory even after moving to more pvp focused servers. Even this guy is using a buff in arena (that was removed out of the game. Long ago by the devs) but found its way back in Sands patch. Probably because gear/items are done lazy and generated by ai. My market still has legendary shields and that is not supposed to be a thing.

GS base damage is generally high 1.5k+ or something and it's the empowers i have from gears and passive + rend on them
