Thanks for this Nick, we did discuss not turning left at Lands End. It was surprising pleasant feeling however to re-enter the Solent.

Did you happen to track your water consumption while on board. What does that average per day calculate out to be over the 6 months?
Our water tank is 55 L and would last for about four days. So I am guessing that is just over 5 L per day per person.
