Is there a lot of mosquitos in Oshawa? Is it muggy in Oshawa? Are there newer condos in Oshawa? Is there a lot of crime? (I just watched 2 videos about St Catherines and they both mentioned the amount of crime in their videos lol)
It gets muggier the closer you are to the lake in the summer, in a basement apartment and it can get up to 90% humidity there. As for crime, there's pockets of areas that get a lot of crime, but that's usually during the night and that'll be mainly focused in around downtown. The rest of Durham REALLY LOVES shipping their homeless out to the Shwa to make themselves look better and with the community services being heavily concentrated in that area, you'll see quite a few homeless folks. The general rule of thumb with downtown is that you'll be fine during the day but night becomes a "You don't mess with me, I don't mess with you" type deal

Not necessarily a realtor, but I am an Oshawa resident. Rent prices will be pretty expensive for a 3-bedroom. Depending on the neighborhood, you're looking at between $1,800 - $5,500/month for renting a 3-bedroom. It'll be more expensive the more north you go.
