If you compare the 70's anime of Great and Getter you'll find that Tetsuya was a lot crazier than Ryoma. In the 2 crossover movies with Great and Getter Tetsuya is the crazy hot blooded one while Ryoma was his level headed counterpart.
Spend time with the Getter Team and you will had their badassery rub on you too. But Tetsuya doesn't need it. I mean Ryoma of people want more to drink with the guy instead of fight him. Because he knows Tetsuya can match his craziness.
which isn't saying much considering he generally has the sanity of a Getter Robo pilot (at least when in the robot, he more level headed when not piloting) ironically Kouji (usually the saner of the two brothers) acts even more insane when using the Majin emperor's counterpart: The Mazinger ZERO.
of all the animation, for some reason i really like the smasher punch animation, simple yet love the impact the punch just went through the enemy with ridiculous speed, it went so fast it didnt leave an impact of getting hit at all, just pass through like a hot knife through butter just to show how ridiculously fast the punch is lol
@glendaion this version is much more badass than the original, at first glance this and the Tetsuya from the original anime are the same, but in reality they are quite different. In the original anime Tetsuya was an orphan adopted by Kenzo Kabuto and trained since childhood to pilot Great Mazinger, and he is very similar in character to Asuka (wich was probably his deconstruction) as he only lives to pilot Great with his self esteem depending on it, and he is also incredibly jelous of Koji. In V however Tetsuya is actually Koji's uncle, and he pilots Great not because Kenzo raised him to do it, in V however he was already an adult when he acceptef to pilit Great, and he did so because he witnessed the danger that Mycenae poses to humanity and took the responsibility to stop them. To summarize, in the original Tetsuya pilots Great because it's the only thing he has in his life, while in V he pilots Great because he took upin himself to stop Mycenae and Zero. I'd say that in V Tetsuya is a more mature character.
Would be cool if we had a Shin Mazinger G with Great making its debut and then having Mazinkaiser and Mazin Emperor G (or Mazinger ZERO and Great Mazinkaiser, or Mazinkaiser and Great Mazinkaiser or Mazinger ZERO and Mazin Emperor G I mean it would be cool)
Come Banpresto, Toei , Bandai or whatever , make a movie similar to the plot of V. Picture this: A 2 and a half epic. The first part is a koji gradually growing mad until mazinger turns into ZERO and destroys everything. The second part is ZERO traveling to the OG world and obliberating OG Z and OG Great. The final part is zero arriving in a world practically like the og , where starts to destroy everyone who tries to stop it , but then when everything seems lost , fucking Mazinkaiser and Emperor G appear and absolutely WRECK THE SHIT out of ZERO to the tune of the classic mazinkaiser theme
