So glad to see you making videos! I’ve watched almost every one of them! Can’t tell you how much I appreciate your content. The way you teach and also how you sell premium products but you also show how to make it ourselves which really shows humility in you. One day soon I’ll buy your easel out of gratitude for all your help!

Not only is the execution of the painting good but the the subject matter and the depth of contrasting color draws you in.

I'm definitely interested in that palette box you're making.
I live in a certain high altitude place that also gets very arid, in the winter especially. My room where I paint is about 16 to 20 percent humidity in winter according to my little humidity sensor I have. The burnt umber especially can start drying out in 3 days in this environment.
I had to jury rig something similar and it really works! Still interested in yours though...

I am interested in that palette. I'm assuming when it's released you'll post a detailed video on it showing how it works. But would it keep the paint wet even if lead white was mixed into some of the colors?

Mark...I don't know whether you agree or not..but your students mostly are becoming exactly like you in painting ..does that concern you? A teacher might be more happy to see each student blossom his own style.

My method is a teaching method, not how I would recommend anyone paint long term. I encourage my students to leave the method behind after about 20 paintings (following the method strictly). Regarding subject matter, I tell my students, "if you love and I hate it, you should paint it".
