8 years ago, I started talking to a guy that I fell for very quick. he got me so excited about life in general and made me look forward to my future. I listened to this song on repeat for 3 weeks straight because it was the only song that could explain how happy I was and how in love with him I was in such a short amount of time. we broke up 3 months ago. There are so many memories in my mind from this time when I came to school 11 years ago. Today it made me cry. Thank you to Snow Patrol for giving me these emotions. I'm so happy now.

I came here just to make sure I wasn't crazy thinking that these lyrics were in a class of it's own. Just found a new appreciation for this song seeing the direction they went with the music video. Not exactly how I pictured in my head, but it makes me like this song even more.
This is one of those songs you hear as a child on a tv show and think nothing of it, but then you grow up and experience love and loss... then it hits differently. Hearing this song again from a new perspective brought tears to my eyes and took my breath away. It’s so romantic.

Snow Patrol honestly holds such a special place in my heart, I went to one of their concerts on my sixteenth birthday and I got to met Gary afterwards. They are such an amazing band that creates such magical music, and I am so thankful they continue to make beautiful music today.
