If I am only looking for a certain market and am flexible when it comes to the venue, should I reach out to multiple venues requesting the same date?
If you are in a rush, then you might want to try that. The only thing is, if they all come back saying yes, you don't necessarily want to then say, "sorry, I found another venue". This is why booking far in advance is ideal. This way you can contact your *priority* venue first, wait till they let you know, and if not, then move on to the next one with the same date.

Awesome video. I noticed your channel name has nothing to do with 'music' but most of your videos do. Not a very good promotion move on your part. The channel name is the most important part. Weird for someone that makes videos regarding how to sell yourself as an artist.

Do managers book shows? Is that what you are asking? If so, yes. But then they try to find their artists booking agents ASAP.
