I really appreciated hearing your thoughts on this, I totally agree that the album would’ve benefited from a trimmed down tracklist. it’s exactly like you said about it winding up for a swing that it never fully takes. I like a lot of the songs, but there’s just an underlying feeling of trying to maintain commercial viability, which is obviously understandable, but kind of hurts the vision for me

I love a lot of the songs on this album individually, but I feel like a lot of the songs on here were just put on here for features. I wish he cared more about keeping a theme on the album instead of going back to the things that got him traction in the first place
