- Desperate to find a way to bring Laurel back, Quentin attempts to find the League of Assassin's only to be stopped by Oliver who tries to get through to the distraught police captain.
This guy has two daughters that have died a grand total of three times. This guy needs a break.
Almost happened a 4th time but chose to die instead, some would consider it mercy.
@@assassinsknightwhen?
Wow man...Paul Blackthorne owned these episodes. Such great acting.
Jesse not bad for an Englishman
Blackthorne and Cassidy were the best actors in the Arrow, everyone else just ... Pffff
John Borrowman and Manu Bennett are my favorites but Paul and Katie are incredibly good too
damn i nearly broke down in tears after hearing him say " I can't do this"
"She's my rock..." Fuck man...
DanGrey32 .....she was my rock. bam, right in the gut.
This guy is such an amazing actor. "She was my rock" right in the gut
That look of pained realization before he says "She was my rock", goddamn.
Laurel was the best daughter and and a great character in arrow series.
Agreed and I'm so pissed of seeing the incoherence and stupidity of superficial people who said Laurel is annoying she is annoying and then when she dies uhhh Arrow sucks because she died No Laurel no Arrow, fuck, they have no respect for both arrow and Laurel's character.
@@francescoparisi126 right when she’s a better more than they have ever been
Exactly
Fr she’s a role model 😢
When he grabs Oliver's jacket to steady himself while crying... Damn.
Great acting by Paul Blackthrone! This scene always makes me tear up, just hearing the way he says "she's my rock" right in the feels
Season 5 needs more Quentin Lance and Oliver Queen moments, these two just work really well together honestly.
There will be!
this is so heart breaking 😢😢 i really loves oliver and quentin scene. somehow they just nail it.
stephanie yeah, it was almost as if he had lost a daughter. very well done.
When his voice cracks... :(
Martin Sanchez not being funny or anything like that but he sound like got Castrated.
cried. Quentin is one of my favorite characters...
Not to say others didn't but Lance had a rough time in the series. Starting out from the flashback to Saras death leading to his downward spiral into becoming an alcoholic, having to see the person he blamed for her death come back having the feeling of unfairness that Oliver lived and she didn't. Then Sara coming back, leaving, dying, coming back and then leaving again, Laurel dying and not having a chance to see/say goodby to her, then having Earth 2 Laurel come to Earth 1 to just make things even more complicated for him. On top of all that, the stress that he put himself through when teaming with Oliver and the risk he put himself in. All of that and he still managed be there when it mattered and went out as a hero.
Hats off to Paul Blackthorne for nailing the character.
"If there was any way to bring her back"
- time travel
- Lazarus Pit
- Tatsu's mad skillz/ magic snow/ whatever tf helped Oliver survive being run through with a sword and kicked off a mountain.
- Superboy Prime punching reality
- Firing Marc Guggenheim
@@CaptainThugRdx I say fuck time travel, too risky. Use the spear of destiny, so far there has been 0 consequences when changing reality vs time.
OR......bring Laurel from an alternate universe
A Crisis maybe?
Time travel would mess things up too bad, Lazarus pit was destroyed, Oliver wasn’t dead, and firing the guy didn’t happen
I literately replay that part back every time like sir?? Did you or did you not say this then consciously neglect to bring her back along with everyone else you brought back in s8???🤔
The girls, Laurel, Felicity, Thea, I love all of them! They're all beautiful, strong, heroic women in their own different ways. But Laurel is my favorite. I cried when she died, but that was NOTHING compared to when her father showed up on the screen at the time of her death! It broke my heart SSOOOO much! They've always had a strong bond no matter what. She WAS his rock. Through the screw ups, the heartaches, everything, Laurel and her dad always stood by each other when the other fell. And now she's gone. And the worst part? He didn't even get to say goodbye to her!
Captain lance doesn't deserve this shit! First Sara died then died again then laurel becomes a drug addict/alcoholic then Sara goes away and after all this laurel dies. I don't think captain can take it any longer!
Come on Barry do your thing
Thomas dgfhf he did xd
This scene made me tear up; such a heart-wrenchng and well done performance.
Paul is such a good actor, it's unbelievable that he's not more famous
As if the writers weren't being cruel enough with Tommy, Sara, Maseo's son...why, why, WHY did they not let Quentin even get to say goodbye to her? WHY?!?!?!?!? I couldn't believe it. That man cries, I cry!
Fr I wish they would’ve let him talk to her before she died..
Laurel was my rock 😭💔💔💔
I didn't even like Laurel and this still hurt.
@Ian Gardner Earth-1
His father and mother were both bad guys, his father who did terrible business dealings while his mother lied about everything else for most to protect her own interest.
With those descriptions, I can't tell if you're talking about Oliver's parents, or America's presidential nominees.
LOL XD
LOL
Well Oliver clearly picked up those traits!
THat doesn't somehow change the fact they those were literally his parents, the fuck.
wow, when I first saw this scene on Netflix at 2:00 AM I cried, honestly I hate Nyssa for destroying the pit, it might have brought her body not her soul, but they brought Sara back to normal, “she was my rock” hit me harder than tony Stark’s death in marvel :(
Season 4 was probably not just the worst season of arrow but the worst season of any arrowvese show in my opinion but this scene is well acted and paul blackthorne is a great actor and one of the fewest things good about season 4
Colin Gibson why’d you hate it so much
@@gotdamn4989 because he's the classic superficial viewer
This breaks my heart so much!
the best scene with these two charachters
this one and the scene from 6x23 before the death of quentin
There's nothing harder than a Father losing his favorite child
Arrow : which are the 2 saddest seasons
Me: season 4 and season 6..
I like how Paul doesn't speak in the normal "cool" TV way where a character is meant to seem cooler than they are. When quentin says "she's my rock" he doesn't sound like a TV charectar. He sounds like a person
I wish season 4 had more heart felt scenes like this. Just like the one Oliver and Quinten had in Episode 4 of season 4. Season 4 was such a letdown. Thank god for season 5.
Everywhere I look I see the same thing,I watched kinda 20 videos of 20 different things or scenes in different episodes and everytime people "This is the only good thing about season 4"... For real? How many only good things season 4 has?
Its sad cause when Sara so called ‘died’ 3 times Laurel was there for Quentin. But when Laurel dies Laurel wouldn’t have been there for him. Sad.
After talking bad about the league of assassins and even fighting them even trying to chase them out the city the league for years and now he finally needs them this Scene gets me
That Lance family went thru the ringer. Lost Sara, she comes back, lose her again, she comes back and within a year Laurels dead. They get a version of Laurel back and the he dies.
Every scene that wasnt about olicity was so great😍😍
If only this season had a lot more of those
Looking back, I kinda wish Quentin and Rip Hunter met. Both understanding loss, and trying to grieve
Quentin crying tho
So good actor
I love the acting in this scene but also find it ironic and funny not the "laughing ha ha ha funny" but the "bad taste in my mouth funny" When they have Oliver say "There is no bringing her back" that's bullshit. They do it several times but they can't do it with Laurel?
*Oliver* "Dies" twice and comes back
*Sara* "Dies" twice but one is for real and gets to come back via Lazarus and gets put on another show. LOT
*Roy* "Dies" in prison to be set free and live in another town
*Thea* technically dies and gets brought put in the pit like Sara
*Ray* "Dies" but really accidentally shrunk himself and gets kidnapped by Darhk also put on another show LOT
This random girl in the flashback fakes her death with the help of Oliver
Yet Laurel can't be brought back in anyway shape or form? They have to hammer home that she is so dead that they make out they can't bring her back? Oh shut the hell up Arrow writers!
Sorry just something on my mind
Karlee Craziness They couldn't bring her back infact that nyssa destroyed the lazarus pit but I think in the new episodes she will coming back soon
Besides Thea and Sara by Thea, nobody actually died...they were all thought dead and maybe there are more Lazarus Pits( like in the comics) , but being dead for about a year and a half like she is now is too much for those waters to bring back without being a complete monster
Andrei Silviu Oliver was at the brink of death when Ra's stabbed him and he would've died had Tatsu and Maseo not saved him, so Oliver should count too.
Matthew Hunter yes, it seemed a bit far-fetched to survive that wound, but the freezing weather and rare air from that mountain + being immediately rescued helped him stay alive
Well your wrong because laurel here actually died, u can see she was having a seizure, she couldn’t just fake her death like that. Sara was brought back, but Lazarus pit is now gone so laurel can’t come back, that’s why they added laurel from earth 2 flash even though that part is stupid, since cmon if they regret killing her off just bring her back n make a new way, season 5 was good, but they couldn’t even leave laurel out of the season at all, they had to find a way to bring her back
Where’s Barry when u need him
Love lance and Oliver's relationship. Recommend season six. Threw a tantrum in the finale
Sara must be upset
Sara didn’t find out until months later she was with the legends.
I can't wait till he confront with earth 2 laurel.
1:05
Around of applause for paul blackthorne everybody
Paul is the greatest actor in tv shows.
Oliver: “If there was a way, if there was any way to bring her back, I would find it and I would do it.”
Also Oliver: *Resurrects everyone but Laurel in the last season*
Bc of earth 2 Laurel I believe. One would die if both came back.
"if there was anyway"
Lazarus pit exists
"not THAT way"
even though Thea and Sara both overcame the negative affects of it and pretty easily in fact.
Paul is one of the good ones, I'd dare argue in some cases there is better talent in TV than in the movies.
Anyone no the music playing
This was one of the best and saddest scenes in the show and season
Season 4 sucked but it still had good moments
Nyssa really shouldn't have destroyed the Lazarus pit
i can picture bruce wayne and jim gordon having a similar scene like this
💔💔
He could have brought her back. With help with the flash, time travel
You know they can't do that
By any chance do you have the scene before this where Nyssa told Oliver about Lance's needing help? where they are talking? would it be possible to upload that?
There's flashpoint
Oliver didn’t bring her back as spectre tho or rather writers anyway. 😢 they could did some kind way make both earth 1 laurel become one with earth 2 laurel after crisis but they didn’t. I really wish they found way write her better instead of killing her off. Then end up with Oliver as couple rest series as it should of been 😢
Gideon Hask?
So, remind me again why everyone thought season 4 was bad? I never thought it was as good as the previous three, but, I mean, come on.
why the hell Oliver never cries or something? :/
No one He cried when Tommy died, he cried when Slade killed his mother, and he cried when he killed Billy.
@@TheRedCityXFactor don't forget him saying goodbye to felicity and mia and his final death
The legends could have helped
Flash could have helped
The were more Lazarus pits ( Roy was revived later )
So 🤔
If Laurel wasn't killed by Darhk, not just she, Sara and Quentin would have died as well. And God knows what the Lazarus Pit can do even to the purest soul.
@@mauriciomongoy2025 🖐️
When he said "I have lost a father" he was about to cry
rock? um
Huge mistake they made for killing Laurel! I was starting to hate the show after she died.
Season 4 was pretty ass, but this was a great scene.
I feel like that Quentin and OLiver are father and son.
I don't really like Laurel, she's a bit hypocritical and sometimes does things that make things a lot worse like time when she brought back Sarah from the dead using the Lazarus.
What do you mean? She brought back sara because she's her sister and she would do anything to have her back.
