I was at the lake first time ever last weekend. Out 13 hours in over two days. Had a hard time finding them going by the dam and then up the whisky and Bear creek. Trolling flies about 2.5 mph. Your stripping technique looks like a workout.i assume you only do that when you mark some fish? Ended with two big stripers and a few large black bass. Definitely wasn’t as easy as you make it look? Was a very hot day. When was your footage? Did you stay in top water? I was targeting the 20-30 foot range but also had one line out for top water. Great videos.
Well, one thing abt this Lake is that the striper there are the most pickiest fish, and most sensitive to noise. If there any kind of vibration nosie will cause them to draw away. They can be at 20-40ft deep or on topwater, you just got to be ready to throw whatever at them to see what attract them at the moment.
Yes they do, just no in and out once the gate is close abt 8pm or 9pm. On the park ticket probably expired sometime the next day in the morning probably 6am.
Man two fish with one lure. Talk about lucky. lol
Was just a lucky cast, especially 2 different species going after one lure. Thanks...Lol
