Paul McCartney is the nicest man you’ll ever meet. He performed at the venue I work at and his security team had to tell us that Paul likes to meet and talk to everyone. They wanted us to try not to engage him too long because they would never get any rehearsals done. Paul wants to know your story and will talk your ear off. He made a point of getting our staff together to thank all of us before he left. So sweet!

I remember seeing/hearing an interview with him in the late '90s or early '2000s where he said he usually don't write autographs cause he, at least then, thought it was unpersonal. On the other hand he said that he can chat some with you! Me and my buddy used to say imagine walking on like Oxford Street in London and bump into Macca! In your head you have hundreds of things you wanted to ask but then bumping into him in London you would probably thinking it's a dream or not be able to say anything at all! Just standing there mumbling.

Mccartney just headlined the massive Glastonbury festival over the weekend. He is over 80 years old and his set was over two hours long. You know you're watching a music god when he brings artists like Bruce Springsteen on stage to sing with him and Bruce bows to him in awe.
He also sang 'I've got a feeling' as a virtual duet with Lennon that brought the audience to tears. Music will never see the greatness of someone like Paul Mccartney again.

I loved this song back in the day. That is Paul McCartney's late wife, Linda, she was in the band "Wings" with him. That is also Michael Jackson's sister, Latoya, playing the girl he gives flowers at the end of the video. Paul and Michael became good friends and they also have another popular duet song called, The Girl Is Mine. The friendship hit a snag when Michael Jackson bought the Beatles’ music catalog out from under Paul McCartney by outbidding him. 💖💖

Paul McCartney was being called "The Voice" in 1963. His versatility makes his voice a chameleon, raspy, soft, sweet, rockin, Paul does it all. This is one reason Michael, and Stevie Wonder both did duets with Paul around the same time. This led to a big riff between Michael and Paul, after Jackson's company bought the Beatles music publishing rights for many years (until legal troubles made him sell them back).

It was during this time that Michael asked Paul if he had any advice for a young artist. Paul told him to buy an old song catalog and he'd be able to make money off rereleases. Michael replied "I'm gonna buy YOUR songs." Paul laughed halfheartedly, thinking he was joking. Not long after, Michael bought The Beatles catalog that was up for auction, beating out Paul. What you saw in this music video at the beginning, was what was called a "traveling medicine show". A group of people would be trying to sell a tonic medicine, that the salesman would promise to give the user strength and healing powers over various ailments. A member of the show, unknown to the people, would pretend to be a buyer of the tonic medicine, use it, and pretend to have amazing results from the use of the tonic medicine. Those in attendance who are convinced that the tonic medicine will help them, buy the bottles of the tonic medicine from the salesman. Most of the time, the "tonic medicine" contained alcohol, and sometimes other drugs that did not help the user, but got them addicted to the "tonic medicine", such as being laced with cocaine, or hashish oil.
These "traveling medicine shows" worked all across the United States during the 19th Century and Early-20th Century, until the Food And Drug Administration worked to shut down their businesses.
The bigger medicine show operators then started selling "patent medicines", such as Hadacol. It was a liquid vitamin supplement, with 12 percent alcohol. It was sold in drug stores, and were very popular in "dry" counties after Prohibition, since it was classified as an "over-the-counter" medication/vitamin supplement. Hadacol was a sponsor of various music tours in the late-1940s and early-1950s, For a year, Hadacol was a sponsor for one of Hank Williams' Sr.'s tours. The Federal Trade Commission went after Hadacol for false health claims, and with the combination of bad business practices the company went bankrupt.
The only "patent medicine" still being sold today, despite its 12 percent alcohol content, is Geritol, which is sold in liquid form, and tablet form.

So in 2019 McCartney came to Atlanta. I've been a fan since the 70's (born in 71).
The show was over 3 hours, and he played Beatles songs, Wings, some new stuff, and solo stuff.
Now the tour had limited dates, so many people around the southeast came in for the show. A family of 4 (husband, wife, son, daughter) were sitting in the first few rows, and they caught Paul's eye. Why? Because they were wearing replicas of the costumes each of the Beatles wore on the Sgt Peppers album cover...he called them up on stage. Found out they had driven from Kentucky to see the show as it was the closest place he was playing from their home. The costumes were spot on, and apparently the mom had made them by hand. The kids were only like 10-12 years old. He calls them up on stage and just talked to them for like 10 minutes. The little boy tells Paul that when they wore the costumes to school all the other kids made fun of him and his sister...So what does Sir Paul do???? He gets someone to bring him a sharpie, and autographs each of the costumes, and then has the family sit about 15 feet from him on the side stage for the rest of the show.
As he was signing the costumes, he looks at the boy and says "let's see if they make fun of you now...these should be worth good money"
    F'ING LEGEND!

I clearly remember when this song came out. I had been a HUGE fan of the Beatles with Paul being my fav Beatle. Funny how that was the question of the day. Who's your fav Beatle. Paul and Michael recorded 3 songs together. You asked were they friends?? Michael bought the rights to the Beatles songs,,something Paul had been trying to do. I heard Paul say in an interview, when he "rang Michael up" to discuss it, MJ refused his calls and wouldn't speak to him thus ending any relationship they had. I've loved Paul for so long. He is talented, gifted, generous and an amazing human being. Still touring and going strong at 80. Long live Sir Paul McCartney!!!

During the filming of "Say, Say, Say," MJ visited Paul Mccartney who was staying at Sycamore Valley Ranch. A few years later MJ bought the Ranch and turned it into Neverland. MJ’s vocals are unmatched he’s Thee Greatest Music Artist Of All Time/Vocalist! For a great reason too simply cause of how versatile the man truly was/is he super soulful gotta check out more of MJ’s discography he’s done World Music,Pop,R&B,Hip Hop,Disco,Funk,Soul,Heavy Metal,Rock,Country,DubStep,Opera etc. he’s phenomenal and dominated the music industry from Childhood To Adulthood And MJ’s vocals are unmatched I prefer the MJ alternate version with most of the parts being sung by Michael himself Long Live The King Of Music Forever! MJ influences are James Brown,Jackie Wilson,Fred Astaire & Sammy Davis Jr. so his default vocal performance is to always go raw MJ is incomparable😇🙌🏽👑💖💕💫(And yes that’s MJ’s sister Latoya who is playing his love interest in this Short Film it’s just acting also he was giving her a opportunity in the music industry being the lovely brother MJ truly was/is btw this song went straight to Number 1)

In the Old West they were what were called Travel Medicine Shows. Before the government began regulating the medical industry, medicines were not necessarily patented but rather trademarked. The shows were where we began to see the real beginnings of marketing campaigns. The person in charge of the show, i.e. the ‘doctor,’ would send people to the next town to garner excitement for the show. They’d put up posters and banners and get the everyone excited to see the wonders that would soon be coming to town. Sometimes the shows had so many entertainers that a town hall was needed but usually the show would be held right on the street in order to attract the largest crowd possible. In between the entertainment, the ‘Doctor' would make a sales pitch about his various “miracle cures”. One of the most popular attractions would be a ‘muscle man’ who would show his strength and claim it was from one of the potions. Others working for the show were usually planted in the crowd and they would step up to give (fictitious) testimonials about the “medicines”. Some of them would appear to have an ailment that an “elixir” would then miraculously cure. Many of these “tonics” originated in England and began to be exported to America in the 1800s.

I am a big Paul McCartney fan. Not a real big fan of the Beatles, however. When the Beatles disbanded, Paul started a band called “Wings.” Y’all need to hear some of their music, “Silly Love Songs”, and “Someone’s Knocking at the Door” are just a couple of their fantastic songs. The beautiful lady in the video is Linda McCartney, who was Paul’s real wife. She was also part of Wings. Sadly, she passed away of breast cancer which had spread to her liver. She was still young and beautiful when she passed. The black girl in the pool hall is Michael's sister LaToya.

Michael told Paul “that’s just business”. They were never on good terms again.
