Production & Assembly Phase 2024 | TU Delft Hydro Motion Team

Only four months ago, we completed the design of our foiling hydrogen-powered boat. Since then we started producing and assembling our boat. The Hull & Body Department has produced a hull optimised for hydrogen and foiling. The Operations Department has designed and produced the wrap of the hull, as well as handling external communication. The Vehicle Dynamics Department has produced and assembled all moving parts of the boat. This makes it possible to propel, steer and let the boat “fly” above the water. The Embedded Systems Department has made sure that all parts of the boat can communicate together. They have made sure that each component works optimally on its own and ultimately fits together in the whole boat.
During the upcoming months, we will move into the Testing Phase, where everything we designed and produced will be validated, so we are fully ready to cross the North Sea!
