In a rush to save Mother Earth, they stampeded on her. Sorry for that terrible image, but that's what it amounts to: Burning CO2 to reduce CO2!🙄
You answered your own question. The numbers you laid out speak for themselves! But, it is also more than that. They are hypocrites for starting and sustaining wars, which are big polluters, and for wanting to fix climate at the same time (there's that "stampeding the Mother", again!).
Which is one big reason why there is general worldwide skepticism among many - that it is all a scam to enrich a few, out of the money from tax-paying public!
The only way to reassure everyone is to eliminate corruption, show account for every $ invested, and, more importantly, produce results!
27 years of nothing?!!! That's one heck of a "all-expenses-paid annual get away"!🙄
First step to reducing carbon is to stop these climate summits. Think how much we could save.

And what was the total of emissions for all the travel entailed?
