vietnam is challenging china, naturally. china will probably outsource to vietnam as well, compete with the west. the good thing is that vietnam is independent and that it will become strong by playing china and the us off against each other. this will dilute the power even more across the world. more power sharing, please!

Especially with the current economic crisis around the world. This is still a good time to invest in various stocks, Gold, silver and digital currencies. Only a nation that defeated the mongols 3 times in 13 century and humiliated chinese empires 14 times in History when China tried to invade them. They also crushed 3 powers: France, America and China in 20 century. The war in 1979 was a total military disarter for Chinese army as they got a huge casualties by Vietnamese local units and failed to save the genocidal Polpot regime in Cambodia . Only 25 years living in peace but now 2024 as we know Vietnam has become a new Asian economic tiger, one of the fastest growing countries 8,2% in 2022 , a upper middle-income country with PPP 16.000 or GDP per capita - 5000 dollars in 2023. Moreover, now Vietnam is one of the top 20 biggest world's exporters 370 billions dollars in 2023. They are even building a huge EV Factory-Vinfast Cars 4 billions dollars in US and 2 onother factories in India, Indonesia.

As a proud Indian🇮🇳, I love ♥ and have a lot of respect for the incredible work of Palki's highly informative and captivating report regarding *How British looted 45 trillion from India* which unquestionably stands as a masterpiece of the highest quality. The content of the reporting is truly inspiring, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. The dedication, talent and hard work poured into the video are greatly appreciated by many. The Indian Union Public Service Commission has delivered a remarkable report titled संघ लोक सेवा आयोग *How Britishers killed 1.8 billion Indians. Chronology of British Raj's exploitative policies* | UPSC," is equally astounding. The Indian government consistently produces insightful and thought-provoking articles of the utmost caliber, and I sincerely hope they continue to produce such interesting exceptional work. Can it even get better than that? It should deserve an award for best report of the year!

Vietnam has MUCH BETTER policies, government support and local support for foreign businesses. On the other hand, India is terrible for foreign investments. The Indian central government might try to attract FDI, but the policies (land laws,. labor laws and the notorious retroactive tax laws) are horrible for any businesses, including foreign investment businesses. And the local government and local enterprises will do anything to sabotage the factories built by foreign investors. So usually after 5 years or 10 years, it is INEVITABLE that the foreign investors will give up and leave India.

@@nitinakash1 I am not saying there is no business going to India. It is a huge market. But it is not a hot spot. As I said before, it is just organic growth to sustain the need of the Indians people USING THE INDIAN STANDARDS. The products produces in India are not qualified for global trade. As such, it is just 1) low quality products from local enterprises 2) "half of the feet out of the door" posture of the foreign investors hoping to catch a quick sale but watchful for "retroactive tax laws" that will clean them up. India is NOT an investment destination for most businesses in the world. And the numbers shows. Vietnam, with one tenth of India's population and small domestic market, managed to have more international investment than India.

Vietnam used to be much more beautiful and safer, but until Vietnam is free from the utterly corrupt and terrorist Commie regime, Vietnam remains a sh*thole for the locals (99% of the population want to get out and many have risked their lives doing so, like 39 young Vietnamese in UK container truck recently on the news) and a hit-and-miss vacation spot for foreigners with emotional attachment due to various circumstances perhaps like yours. Otherwise, Commie Vietnam is much like Commie Cuba for a tropical sojourn and much like Commie North Korea with its barbarity. Besides ranking near the bottom of Southeast Asia's in GDP per capita, Commie Vietnam is similarly ranked at the world's bottom in freedom of speech and freedom of the press, just above its fellow Commies China and North Korea. Lives of the 95% population under this brutal regime is anything but easy, with constant home and land-robbing that happen to them anytime the Commie government official bandits smell the increase in prices that these immoral lowlifes can inhumanely profit from with 100% risk free, while living in one of the most polluted places in the world (Hanoi is top polluted city in Southeast Asia) with contaminated food and water, along with constant flooding and highest rate of liver disease and cancer. Again, there is a reason why 99% of Commie Vietnam's population want to get out, including Commie government officials who launder their loots and blood money along with the kids overseas to the West. There is a reason why even Commie bandit like Vingroup's Pham Nhat Vuong (got rich primarily by colluding with Vietnamese Commie regime to sell their properties built on lands robbed from poor Vietnamese citizens. Search relevant search terms in Vietnamese, one would see tons of videos right here on UA-cam showing decades of land-robbing across the country, spanning for decades) safeguarded his loots of $4 billion from his fellow comrades by shipping them to Singapore for starter.

    finally Vietnamese learnt lesson from 3 Indochina wars, if Vietnamese is pro-France anti-communist, pro-USA anti-communist, pro-Soviet anti-Chinese,
capitalist or communsit Vietnamese will get punished and contained if China saw neighbors hooked up with other superpower militarily,
now smart Vietnam refused to join American Bamboo Curtain 2.0 to contain Chinese, because Vietcong knew they can't deter or scare China with USA militarily again,
that's why Vietcong will be more neutral, not too anti-China but also not anti-USA, then Vietnam will get economic benefits from both and freeze South China Sea issue,
only naive and uneducated Bongbong refused Duterte route but joined anti-Chinese military encirclement and boycotted Chinese economic and infrastructure help,
so Philippines will be proxy war battlefield in Fourth Indochina War after Xi isolated Bongbong in ASEAN, it's very dangerous for Philippines if they don't know Cold War history!!

Vietnam has a very high education workforce, finish highschool consider by society as compulsory unless you are living in a mountian or remote countryside or personal reason .people are fear not complete highschool , you lost status in society consider as backward person. Secondly , people are very hard working and they like team work and monitor each other work instead of individual like western countries or other part of Asia. That why vietnam very successful in millitary country.

I'm not surprised that Vietnam is the next Tiger. Got to continue the development of the Sinosphere or the east asian cultural sphere. This cultural sphere of greater China, Japan, Korea and Vietnam, shared the philosophy of Confucianism, the religion of Buddhism, and similar polical and social structures stemming from a background of historical scholars in Classical Chinese. It's not surprising that the biggest FDI to mainland China in the 80s to 2000s is from Japan, S. Korea, HK and Taiwan. Now the biggest FDI to Vietnam are from China plus these places. If N. Korean relationship with its neighbours in the cultural sphere normalizes, i can see the most FDI to N. Korea also coming from this cultural sphere. After all, we want to support our neighbours and those who share similar culture to us. India is actually doing well in their development considering their circumstances because whereas China in the past, and now vietnam has the advantage of being poor in a rich neighborhood, india has the disadvantage of being rich in a poor neighborhood.

exactly, even Vietnam is in ASEAN, they have little things in common with the other regional countries, much more likely in the group of China, Japan, Korea & Taiwan as they have been together for thousand years.

@@phillipchan6919 that may be true. China has control of Vietnam from 111bc to 939 CE. So while some people with Han surnames may have Chinese ethnicity from the Chinese diaspora of the time, a lot of people do not have Chinese ethnicity and their surnames are due to the factor of language transmission and etymology of words. Vietnamese have received many loan words from Chinese in the ancient past too. My parents are part of the recent Chinese diaspora in Vietnam and while our surname is spelled Ho in HK and He in the mainland, it is Ha in Vietnam. I have a friend whose surname is Tran and it's Chan in HK and Chen in mainland. There are many more examples.
