I'm concerned that Wheeler didn't say "Thank you for having me, it's great to be here." They may have been replaced by a pod person.
Shivam said "Thanks for having me", so my theory is that those two have, or are in the process of, exchanging souls.
Are they jellin' though?
Thanks for having old, it's nice to be meat
What?
I'm sure he's filled with smuckers goodness and vacuums up peanuts.
Wheeler and that Burns/Smithers remark was such a power move
I laughed way too much at that part and woke my family up 🤣
Omg I was deeeeaaad☠️🤣
Lmao Wheeler came in SWINGING
Oh Shivam! Noo! If you had cast the sudden spoiling in response to Adam’s earthquake, they would’ve become 0/2’s without flying and died to the earthquake!
That would have been amazing!!!
Oof, and he even had the mana open for it too. Yeah that hurts
the only defense i can offer is that it was 11 pm, lol
@@shivambhatt8380 Y’know, that’s a very valid defense XD It was a fun game to watch, hope you had a good time playing!
Just saw this and was screaming to the void!!!
this was SO MUCH FUN! Thank you LRR for having me =)
christ i sing a lot
Good job on hitting those notes ( :
You're an absolute treat and we're quite fortunate to have you on the vanguard of this format :)
Was it great to be there?
That Cruel Ultimatum was basically a Friday Nights short. !Great.table!
“Spin the Wheel, Old Meat!”
Adam just casually killing it, nbd
You set me up like a Yu-Gi-Oh villain will always be my fav line.
Man, Adam was channeling his inner Gatekeeper for the wheel spin and I am HERE for it.
"Yoooooouuuuu?!"
Perfect mix of "imposing" and goofy also I always forget how tall he is
yes my grape keeper!
He was seconds away from sending them to the Black Hole....
To the blah goal!!!
1) I am inordinately pleased to see fuzz return to Graham's head. Congrats, Graham!
2) Adam very barely fits in the frame with the wheel and I find that adorable and hilarious.
3) Always delighted to see Shivam in any content!
4) These are some killer decks and an excellent episode!
*sees Graham *
*gasp * Nature is healing!
In case you haven't heard the news, Graham has finished his chemo treatments and is cancer free!
Omg his growing hair again, world is healing now
@@FrankiePeanuts The announcement is on the Desert Bus youtube channel, for the curious.
@@FrankiePeanuts wait he had cancer???
That's awful, but I'm do glad to hear he's better.
can't believe adam has finally picked something that gavin can be blamed for to blame gavin for
I love Adam Aggressively being himself for the intro
I never realized how tall Adam actually is until I saw him standing by the wheel asking "is he standing on a chair?"... I realize now that the answer is no. no he is not. great videos look forward to more!
Yeah, Adam's like 6'5".
LRR's entire height is skewed-tall. Adam looks "just a little taller than Graham", but Graham is also like 6'2"
Creature - Giant Gamer
Not sure if it's because I read this comment first but when I saw the shot I thought, "yep, it definitely looks like he's standing on a chair!"
@@JRandomHacker yeah its funny that I think Shivam who is 5-10 or 5-11 is the shortest person at this table.
Wheeler going down while speaking the phrase "Ma Wife." was truly emotional.
I'm here for Wheeler every time. He embodies pure working class depression energy
Adam killed that intro, made me twice as excited for the episode and I was already super excited!
I had to pause I was laughing so hard at the intro!
The moment Shivam said "You'll know it once I pay the mana cost" my eyes opened so wide because I knew what was about to happen.
Alright, but there could easily be an Atmosfear / Nightmare game with Adam as the host. He's got the right amount of scenery chewing chops to pull it off
His character should be some sort of butcher that calls one of the players "old meat."
The whole opening, from Graham's turtleneck to whatever that was Adam was doing, was fantastic. Should be a great game!
I asked for more wheel of precons, and you delivered. Fantastic. Now please go and play more precons!
I really appreciate the editor's work in this one. Giving us the shot of Adam scratching his armpit at 52:52 shows true dedication to the craft. Give the people what they really want.
This is engagement! Great seeing Shivam on EDSC.
What a great table of folks I am lucky enough to share the world with. Adam was in perfect form at the start.
I absolutely loved that opening. Adam's banter at the begging was great. Wheeler's responce was fantastic!
"There's treasure in them there hills!"
Petition for Adam to be the Wheelmaster henceforth. His proclamations made me even more excited than I already was for a new episode!
Hey I just want to say that I really like this episode, Shivam is a delight and the chemistry was great starting with the opening bit and going all the way through
The wheel send me right back to spellslingers with Sean plot and I’m loving it!
Excellent, as always. Thank you. I’m gonna finish watching, but man, Surge saying “…No. Screw you!” to Adam in the beginning was really funny, knowing what a nice guy Surge is. 😂
Take my like now please!
It baffles me how these are just so much better than 99% of EDH content online. Keep them coming!
Shivam: "The Ur-Dragon is just a Craw Wurm that went to school."
Damn near spat my drink across the room I was laughing that hard.
that dead look on wheeler's face when Adam was reading the credits was awesome!
Graham, the shadow of your glasses makes it look like you have a badbuss eye scar. Couple that with the turtleneck, and I’m getting big villain vibes.
That was a delight, I need more things with Wheeler and Shivam adjacent to each other.
Engagement for the algorithmic god!
Thank you for the wonderful content as always! It's awesome to have guests on the show
Not even 5 minutes in and I have to comment how much I love everyone's energy, especially Adam. Absolutely fantastic.
33:34 Serge... What on earth was that noise?!
Hiccup there's another player in one of my playgroups that also makes that hiccup noise.
Perfectly normal human noises
What a blast of a game and group. Love the wheel. Seeing precon decks from such different periods fight each other is quite interesting.
I love the chemistry and dynamics of this table. So much fun banter. :D
Playing that Sudden Spoiling in Response to Earthquake would have been amazing
I love my favorite LRR personality *checks notes* Adam Savage Lands
Adam was in a mood in the first 5 seconds and I'm *HERE FOR IT!*
I immediately hate that I saw a way Shivam could have killed Adam's entire board by casting a spell slightly sooner.
Only saw the 3:48 of intro and already hit the like button as hard as I could! Let's see what the rest of the episode looks like :P
Can we get some Bear Force ONE in here with the fun new Bear cards from Brothers War please.
It’s been quite unbearable actually
YES. An episode of only Graham brewed decks. Sapling Lumberyard and Bear Force One. And some other decks. BUT BEARS
Love the editing dropping the health to 0 as Wheeler says 'My Wife'
Adam has incredible stage presence lol.
Engagement for the engagement god!
Adam just throwing everything into chaos from the start, I love it
"It's a craw wurm that went to school" 😂 brilliant
I usually watch these in the background, but the wheeler adam energy was too captivating!
Draconic Domination is my teenage daughter's favorite deck to run, largely for this reason. It's big, it's swingy, and it's fun.
EDSC is tremendous! More EDSC more often (please).
"SPIN THE WHEEL OLD MEAT!" has me giggling uncontrollably.
That was very supportive of y'all to ask serge that.
For those who don’t remember, Mind Seize from Commander 2013 was the debut of true name nemesis. Because of it being a new staple for Legacy, it caused a massive rush for this deck, where it was double the cost on the secondary market of any of the other decks from commander 2013.
Each case of Commander 2013 had five individual decks that were all different because it was the start of the now annual five commander release.
I sold True name for the cost I paid for my pre-order deck, and the only reason I pre-ordered it specifically was it was the only deck with a vampire commander.
Happy to see Graham's hair growing back. I'm also going to mention that Sudden Spoiling would have been best to play in response to earthquake
wow I was literally just thinking "I wish LRRMTG would do more wheel of precon shows" and here it is. Please do more. !
"Bring me Old Meat!" is how I'm going to start making phone calls.
That was such a good game ! And now that you're bringing guests, I wonder what kind of chaos would ensue if the Prof would join there...
I'm just so happy to see the dragon deck get some time in the spotlight. People usually gang up on them so fast
Love that you had Shivam on! He is one of the best creators
"Would old meat do this?" *proceeds to be the only one to pull a deck already used on the show*
I love how the threat eval was forsaken early. Great show.
Graham is becoming a dilf. Great content as always.
I only just started watching EDSC today.
Don't watch much magic content, like it just not as much as other stuff. But this is an absolutely fantastic format that has me laughing for minutes on end.
Yeah, I'm going to need Adam to host more wheel spinning. Praise Heather for the upload!
For future reference Sefris doesn't count herself for her ability to trigger. Love this series, keep it up!
I see that called out in the Oracle rulings but I'm really confused about why. "Whenever a creature is put into the graveyard from the battlefield", aka "dies", triggers when the creature with the ability dies. Why does "from anywhere" and "creature card" change anything about that rule?
@@Sheer_Falacy Creatures see themselves die (i.e. start the process of moving into the graveyard), but they don't see themselves actually enter the graveyard. That, I believe, is why Syr Konrad has such exhaustive rules text - because he normally wouldn't be able to see cards entering the graveyard from anywhere if he dies, so he needs to be able to see them die as well.
@@1AlasBabylon but “dies” is literally just “is put into the graveyard from the battlefield” in shorter form. Rule 700.4
Looking more, it’s a combination of rule 603.10 and 603.6c - “leave the battlefield” effects look back in time but “from anywhere” effects don’t, even if “anywhere” was the battlefield. That’s really not intuitive, they shouldn’t have set up a weird interaction like that on a single card.
Which let him kill Etali and Hellkite, which he shouldn't have been able to do
Shivam continues to be the most wholesome man in Magic.
21:40 I cannot judge Shivam, I also have a terminal case of "Dad Humor"
40:06 Unfortunately, Wheeler actually doesn't get the Sefris trigger here, because it's based on the creature hitting the graveyard, not dying. Sefris isn't on the battlefield when she moves into the graveyard, and so isn't around for her ability to trigger.
(Oracle ruling on 24/09/2021)
Why hasn't anyone else noticed this!??
Which let him kill Etali and Hellkite, which he shouldn't have been able to do
@@joedoe7572 That was a different interaction. The one you're thinking of was the one he evoked Shriekmaw for, which was perfectly legal.
@@ZaberFangAT but he was only able to do it twice because he finished the dungeon right then and returned it to the battlefield for a second Shriekmaw trigger
@@joedoe7572 Ah, I see what you mean. I forgot that came after the Ultimatum, sorry. You are correct in that he should have been one room behind where he thought he was.
I love graham's ghost hair its very good to see it come back
Quality content. Engage the engagement!
I enjoyed this game so much. I hope I see these four playing again sometime.
Always a treat!
This was awesome, I love watching these commander games.
36:55 I think this was the misplay that might have cost Wheeler the game. When he floats the mana in response to the Vandelblast, he could have brought his Reassembling Skeleton, which would have protected his Sefris from the Cruel Ultimatum on Shivam's turn. That small change of having his commander in play a little longer could have changed the entire game's outcome.
He did however venture into the dungeon when Sefris died, which shouldn't actually have happened. Which let him kill Etali and Hellkite, which he shouldn't have been able to do
Loved this, was giggling from start to finish
What a good game. Great to see all the decks pop off
I don't play Magic, but I really like EDSC. Consider the video engaged with.
That Earthquake made me feel at home :D
Can we all just appreciate how awesome the set of commander 2017 decks were? Edgar and Ur dragon still command the cost of a series S or a switch as a sealed deck on the gray market, cats are pretty good also, and even the wizard deck, long the red headed step child of the set, is now close to the value of the cat deck for the one card in it that now, combos with cards printed after that deck.
Dragons. Notable underdogs in all fantasy ever.
It's the Four Vicelings of the Apocalypse....
God I love high-energy Adam
I love that I saw this was uploaded 1 second ago
Oh right on, new episode! Always a good time to have Shivam on
40:00 - Notably, Sefris doesn't trigger on her own death (or other creatures that die at the same time, such as from Wraths), because of how "graveyard from anywhere" abilities work differently from "dies" triggers. It's weird, and I wish the card made that clearer.
And yeah, Sudden Spoiling earlier in the turn would've been spicy.
Friends playing magic is so fun to watch.
Excellent gameplay and people. Love you all
Love to see a good old slug match among these blue decks.
33:33 Serge Squeak Warning!
I never got a chance to win with Ur-Dragon, back when I played it. I was the Automatic Archenemy, and everyone ganged up on me. So I’m jealous seeing it win.
Wheeler seemed to be channeling Olmec from Legends of the Hidden Temple when going through the dungeon.
I am engaging with this content that I very much enjoy!
The banter between these 4 is top notch
In one of my favorite games, we have evil Adam in this game, picking the decks got me 🤣
Adam would make a fantastic chaotic game show host demon.
I continue to greatly enjoy EDSC
Glad to see your hair coming along great Graham :D
As someone who just recently started watching random videos in this channel, seeing bald Graham was a scare
Serge you can't just say "Old meat spin"
