I love that you played the clips from the episode muted with the sound of nature from what you were filming playing over it. Really lets the moment sink in.

WOW....this is truly amazing Nick! It must be so exciting when you are looking for a certain spot and you finally find it! I know that we have come across some locations where we knew a certain scene from a show or movie was filmed and we were so excited knowing that so and so was right here in this very spot! I thought I was the only person that loves to play the match game! I find locations on google earth and use the street view to see how much the locations have changed! Very nice my friend. There’s an episode from the second season where Bobbie meets Tony in a parking lot and gives him an envelope, in the background you see a Sunoco gas station and a motel; “The Lincoln Motel” I found it yesterday. It’s 430 Broad St. Newark NJ. the hotel is no longer there but the gas station is but under a different company 😎

Exactly. The Pine Barrens are flat, the soil is sandy, and they are full of scrubby pine and cedar trees. There aren’t the tree leaves you see all over the ground in this episode.

@@josecuervo1747 I lived in Wildwood new Jersey from 2006-2008 and I went to the pine barrens often enough. When i finally saw this episode in 2009 I kept wondering why it looked so different. I just assumed they went to a part of the pine barrens I never did, because yes, they're the saddest woods ever.

This was the best video of its type I've ever seen on UA-cam. All you had were a bunch of trees but you found the exact spots the boys stood in all those years ago. I always wondered why Chris and Paulie never used the obvious lake behind them to orient themselves, maybe it was a subtle nod at how dumb they really were.

I'm sure you must have enjoyed standing in the exact places of filming. I got tingles just thinking about it haha!

(41.2944938, -74.0549688) walk up from these coordinates to (41.2950573, -74.0551157) these coordinates. .. roughly around there, you should be able see most of them pretty quickly.
Now where Tony and Bobby find them is around (41.2947163, -74.0533156) this area, hard to tell from overhead.
      Happy hunting!

Not bad, but an impossible thing to prove.
Firstly, it was snowing and it was 20 years earlier. Nice try, but without man made buildings or landmarks, you can't be sure, trees look the same the world over!

not fer nuthin , but how stupid is the audience that never, not once , have i heard ONE person say "but there aren't any pine trees ; it's not the Pine Barrens " etc . These are mostly deciduous woods , lots of oaks. Nary a pine in sight. For people who know , this place (though very beautiful) looks NOTHING like the actual pine barrens. Like, who the hell do they think they're fooling ? DUH

You would be an awesome director to a movie how you explain it. Great job how you put all this together with the shots from the tv show.
