Agreed about affordable homes. They're available, but all in green run, birdneck, and off Newtown. I've noticed a bunch of utility poles with no lights on top going up around certain parts of the city....... ShotSpotter.
Thank you, thank you! Feel free to email or call anytime whenever you'd like like me to help you! Otherwise, there are more videos to come every week 😀
I live in Red Mill now and I love this area. Grew up on in Kempsvillle, then moved to Great Neck for 15 years and once my son graduated moved over to Red Mill. I think this is my favorite area in Virginia Beach. Dam neck and oceana bases aren’t far away but I really can’t complain about jet noise, it’s not bad but then again, when you’re a local, I think it becomes white noise.
Great video. It's still a little discouraging for me. I currently live across the street from phf and I absolutely love this side of the water but the problem is that my son is special needs and Newport News school district is terrible when it comes to special needs. There are more resources on finding out on the Virginia beach side. This is one move that I am not so excited to make but Virginia Beach is very beautiful
The housing prices there are a con? I live in San Diego where the median house price is over $850K. Condos are 300K minimum and that's way into the interior; nowhere near the beach
Hi Sam, Is virginia beach asian friendly? My family and I will be relocating there later this year and I would like to know your input in this. Thanks Sam! edit: we are currently living in los angeles
i live in Richmond and head to the Va beach once a month....i don't live there because make more money in Richmond and the fighter jets flying over all the time...no jazz music dead after 11pm maybe because of Pandemic....no train station, no parking have to have a car...small town feeling place...so is Richmond.
Would you let your daughter live there to go to college even if it’s 1000 miles from home? Mainly trying to figure the real crime rate because everything I see it’s low crime but then I see people talking about how bad the crime is?

100% accurate, agree with it all and it just made me love va bch more. Restaurants are pretty good too now, Koren like K-pot popping up everywhere Our culture America 🇺🇸 Great video
Wow thank you!! And I also agree with the restaurants. Good point - I know there are a lot of chains here, but I've found great holes in the wall in a variety of cuisines that are our go-to's all across town.
Virginia Beach Sucks! Bridges, tunnels and mad traffic! Tourist, tourist, tourist everywhere. And don't get me started on the noise, jet noise that is. And try finding a job that isn't tourist industry or military related. Stay away and save your sanity.
Virginia Beach is a great place for families! Lots of outdoor activities to choose from, love it here!
Heyyyy brothaaaaaaa

Sam, I love watching your videos and hope to soon buy in Virginia Beach

Terrible City council ! High property taxes
Amazing video as always. Most of my family lives in Hampton Roads and I love visiting. Wishing you the best in 2024 from Colorado!
Thank you so much!! All the best to you back in Colorado, too!

Living in the great neck area
After watching a video on the cost of living in Florida, Virginia Beach is a piece of cake 🍰
Great content as always!
Thank you very much!!
Sam is fantastic! I reached out to him for a trivial
l question and he got back to me immediately. Gave me insight into the area
May is good everywhere
Thanks for info

well you are in California.
lol this video convinced me not to take the job offer in VA Beach. Very informative though! Thanks!
My hometown!
VB not all that bad. I came up there being a homeless military veteran. I stayed at the vet house for free till i found a job at General Dynamics.
Hi Sam,
Is virginia beach asian friendly?
My family and I will be relocating there later this year and I would like to know your input in this.
Thanks Sam!

Hey! 👋🏾 yes it’s Asian friendly. Virginia Beach is a military city which means it’s a melting pot for all ethnicities. Very safe here.
Very friendly. Large Filipino community due to Navy.

well said...thank u
I used to live in Yorktown. I avoided going down to VA Beach as much as possible.
Yorktown is not Va. Beach
@@effu9375 it's close enough. Hated going down to the beach.
@@shadymaint1kind of a stretch to say that Yorktown is close to Virginia Beach. It’s an hour, on a good day. That tunnel is a nightmare
Salisbury Maryland has no beach

Does Virginia Beach have variety of museums?
Norfolk has the best museums!
There is a museum of contemporary art in Virginia Beach
Cons: if you’re a criminal Virginia Beach is not for you!

To each their own. I’ve been living here since childhood, and I love it here.
