Would be cool to see Puscifer jamming at Sweetwater. Maybe A Perfect Circle or Tool…if even possible.

Who are these fellas?! I dig this a lot! It’s obviously very heavily steeped in ‘90s-grunge, but that doesn’t take anything away from the originality of their sound. It’s tricky as hell when you’re tightrope-walking that thin line between: (1) “having” your influences bleed into your songwriting/song crafting, and (2) “BEING” your influences to the point where there is no originality present AT ALL… and -taking in only this song, at face value- these guys are definitely in the former (1) category.
Some time soon, the first “perfect Spring day” is going to come around, and this makes me want to hop in my car, roll down the windows, and queue the LP/EP/single which has this song on Spotify. Then crank up the volume, as I take an OG “Sunday drive” during sunset. . . .Really looking forward to that 🎉!!

Lot's of stuff from them here on UA-cam - The Black Moods! Retro yet current - lots of influences and every song doesn't sound the same - "Sunshine" is straight out grunge while "Watcha Got" or "The Cure" are bluesy rockers. Cool band and the best live band I've seen in probably the past ten years - they just kill it in a big theater or a small club.

Love the mix and guitar tone. I’d be interested to know what amps were used with the Strat.

Yeah, it would be great if there were no close up but large plans in order to see the gear. Hope they will see this comment before mixing the Elegant weapons session !

If you're considering pop'ish performers, then Benny Sings. Like Paul McCartney, Benny has that same innate talent to craft simple love songs, easy to tap your foot to, with ultra-catchy hooks that are easy to remember and hard to forget. Good a good producer too. If the art of pop production is on the table, I'd like to see him (and maybe vocalist Remi Wolf too) in your studio! Thanks for asking.

Guitar was too loud. The song was itself was a little pedestrian?

Well, if the guitar was any quieter, it might as well have been a kazoo! But in all seriousness, I hear you loud and clear. Maybe we can convince the guitarist to switch to playing air guitar instead. Or better yet, we can turn the volume up on everything else and drown out the guitar altogether. Who needs six strings when you have a good bass line and some killer drum beats, right? But hey, let's not get too hasty. The guitarists tend to be a sensitive bunch, and we wouldn't want to hurt their feelings.
