Does the HUHD 399 work with laptops? There is no Optical connection in laptops, so this means you can't use them with laptops? Does it work when connecting Lap-Top to the HUHD transmiter only via the USB port?
yeh I don't think they would work with laptops because of the optical sensor, I am not sure if there is such thing as optical sensor to usb converter, you might wanna check their website. thanks

I dont have a kinect and I plugged the cord for the mic and I still can't talk answer
+gavin saunders sorry i don't understand your question, the headset is wireless and it has no cord, the mic doesn't plug into the controller like the wired headsets.
+DJ Aladdin it have cord output for mic , this cord go to xbox one controller ( old model controllers need chat adapter ).

it's supposed to, i don't see how you can connect otherwise, you might want to exchange it.
I have a Xbox one tho and I can't talk cause u either need a connect or the 2.5mm cord plugged into the adapter
