    Easy Strawberry Jam made in the Bread Machine: water bath canned

    Mrs. Delinda is 4 cups fruit and 4 cups of sugar and the packet of sure jell the maximum I can put in my KBS ? I put up large amounts of jelly and jams at on time by cooking on stove top. Just asking. I was looking for how to use the KBS but I guess I will stick to stove top method. Thank you!!

    Thank you for the video! What is the shelf life of canning v. not canning?

      If you don’t water bath it I would recommend storing it in the refrigerator to prevent it from molding. Shelf life otherwise is a bit unpredictable and debatable.

    Do I need the stirring rod for making jam?

      If you are referring to the paddle, that goes in the bottom of the pan, Yes that needs to be in there.

      Thank you much for the quick response ❤ I made it last night without pectin. Came out really watery. My question is, can I add pectin now and finish cooking in stove top?

      @@rumaahmed6447 if you have the package the pectin came in I believe it will have instructions for that. I believe if you reprocess and add the pectin you will have to use the no sugar pectin or otherwise you will have to add the full amount of sugar again fur the pectin to work. So if you have some no sugar pectin you can reprocess it.

      Yeah. I already fixed it 😊 Thank you again for the reply and support. I followed your directions to make sourdough bread in KBS Bread machine and it turned out amazing. Next, if you do a video tutorial for French bread in KBS machine I’ll really appreciate it. Thanks again ❤🌹
