Good day Sir 👌👍😉 What you good folk's have no snow 🥴😮 Great camera shots 👌🧐 Ho boy that big tractor front grapple did a great clean up 👌👍💪😉 OUSTANDING VIDEO TO BOTH OF YOU 👍👌🧐 All the best Cheers 👌👍😉🍻
Looks weird to be watching a video of a tractor working with no snow on the ground when I spent most of the morning digging us out from last nights snow storm. Supposed to get another inch again tonight.
I dont think we will have clear ground until spring time! Happy to hear from you Gary. we have 12-24 inches on the way today from todays nor easter now turned blizzard!
If I tried a rotary cutter on that brush, I'd find you a hundred free concrete blocks... because I find blocks with brush cutters! Good work, GREAT video. Tractor action! Good to see you back making videos!
I sure enjoy land clearing. Our snow is melting fast this morning. Warmer temps with rain then back to 19 degrees tonight. Watch them root balls, I damaged my grill pushing out a tree once, big root came right up the side behind the guard. Luckily I was able to straighten it out. Take care!
I took out one of the rear round lights in the video unfortunately … it happens lol hopefully you don’t end up with a mud mess, we are going into a deep freeze here don’t think we will see above 32 for a while
Always amazed at what the brush cutter can go through and you’re right that grapple looks heavy duty 👍🏻. Glad to see you Richie, have a great Sunday 🙋🏼♂️🙂👍🏻
Good job, got to love a L2501HST. Glad your plowing snow & not me! 62F near Charlotte NC today - ground is super wet. Good day for moving & burning brush!
Great job Richie! It was pretty nice to be able to tag-team the equipment based on their best use. I've started out with my grapple to clear brush thinking that I was going to finish up with the brush hog. I never do because my grapple does the job by itself and it's a pain to put the the brush hog onto the PTO. The land's looking nice and now you can walk around that part of the land and get a better idea of how you want to finish up. Good to see you again my friend!
As far as the pto problem my best suggestion would be to take off the shroud on the tractor so you don’t have to try to force your hands in there! It’s a small compromise in my opinion. Thanks for stopping by David !
Yeah that shroud is a pain. There's also the option of a PTO Connect system but that's pretty expensive. I might even sell my brush hog since I hardly ever use it. haha
Good video, keep them coming. I often get jobs to brush hog Himalaya briers. Super dense and sometimes 10’-12’ tall. Using the cutter and front grapple, I rip the taller stuff out and then mulch it with the cutter. Amazing what the L2501 will do in a day!
Nice job Richie 👍 That MTL grapple was pretty impressive . They have no middle man in sales and sell direct too consumer I believe . It really stood up too some punishment for grade 50 steel . The price you got it for you made off like a bandit 😂👍 Steel prices have gone thru the roof since you bought it .Every time I see you on that kubota I miss my M 5030 DT with the straight six diesel and shuttle shift reverse . Was great machine for cleaning up the farm like your doing now . Glad too see you back at it having fun 👍👍👍 Keep them coming . 👍👍 You and Christy really make a good good team on those Kubota’s 👍
I honestly dont think i could have built the grapple my self just in materials for what i paid for it lol! Happy to hear from you stephen, we got a new puppy friday i will send you over some pics!
Hi Richie! Well done! Your L2501 seemed to power the brush hog very well. The M7060 and that MTL grapple are a force to be reckoned with! You took down some good sized trees. You got a DEAL on the grapple! I have a set of MTL pallet forks. They make good stuff at reasonable prices. Thanks for sharing!
Great to hear from you Martin. The 2501 has far exceeded my initial expectations as we purchased it to do the light farm chores that the m may have been a bit big for such as raking the indoor arena, but i think i use the l series more often!
I have a question, please. I have a Kubota M7060. I recently purchased it, and to be honest, I am uneducated with this tractor. My question is, will a Kubota M7060 handle this type of work on a daily basis, clearing land like this? I am new to this tractor, as I said. I would like to use my tractor like this to clear some of my land. It's about five acres in about the same condition. It used to be a cattle field and has been let go for around 15 years. Pretty good size Cedar, Cherry, Pine, Popular, Red Bud, ext... I have pushed some down around 8 to 10 inches with just the bucket then pushed the trees in a burn pile. I have thought about getting a grapple because it looks like this does a better job and easier. I just don't want to destroy my tractor or bend something. Any advice and input will be much appreciated. Thank you
